Great Grease Gun on Grease Guns

This is a great grease gun (can you say a pistol?), it is certainly well made and a good size. The only thing I have to lubricate is the lawn mower and it does its job perfectly!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some cons

Good for grease guns

A little tricky to install but once in it's good. a bit dirty, like all! This little 3 ounce pistol works very well! Not bad if the tip is adjusted.

Complete garbage! best when transferring and lubricating fuel

The applicator tube was cross-threaded and could not be attached. Fat will not pass the block. The package was stapled together as if returned from a previous sale. This is a poor quality product that does not match the description.

Couldn't do any worse when transferring fuel and lube

Worst junk I've ever encountered. I've tried three different brands of grease cartridges and none of them deliver more than 1/8th of a cartridge. When I try to lock the T-handle to load a new cartridge, 3/4 of the time the notch at the end doesn't catch the rod and the spring pushes the plunger through the new cartridge, blowing out the grease. Complete nonsense! If only I knew.

Buyer Beware - Grease Gun Won't Close Zerk

bought this to replace an old 3 ounce grease gun that needs more pressure when greasing my snow thrower and I am not happy with the results. The grease nozzle came out of the transom and didn't provide a proper seal for the apparent pressure this unit is delivering. I ended up replacing my old oiler with a good working grease and was back in business. For the price, I'm thrilled to say the least. Next time I would give another company a chance to buy a cheap grease gun. Although 3500 psi is a…

Suitable for cartridges or loose lubricants!

Wow the instructions were terrible but after setting it up it works fine. Out of the box it's configured to dispense cartridges, which I haven't tested. I had to lubricate my Tanaka hedge trimmer with Stihl Bulk Trimmer Grease in a tube. To switch to volumetric dosing, the gun must be disassembled and the piston reversed. The instructions make a vain attempt to explain this as too much is lost in translation and the drawings provide no description. Luckily, guessing the correct arrangement of…

Just like any other fat burner.

Like all grease guns. and i had the same problem 30 years ago in the army. The walls of the tube are thicker than the plunger so the plunger needs to be loosened and pushed into the tube and if there is grease all over the place end up using whatever tool you can find to push the plunger in and then when you do At least 1/4 of the pipe spatter is done. and at the end you put it back in. I had vivid memories of this problem almost 30 years ago and it seems like some things never change. I…

Cons
  • Minor problems

I read the reviews before purchasing and was a bit hesitant as some people had problems using the cartridges. But I took the plunge and have no regrets at the moment. I must say that if you use ammo or bulk lube, you should read the instructions on how to load and reconfigure the gun with lube. I had a 3 ounce tube of lube I wanted to use so I had to figure out how to fill it. I made sure to reconfigure the gun to work with bulk grease first. It's about how the rubber seal inside, for example…

Great value small cartridge grease gun that works perfectly

I just needed a simple but reliable grease gun for my Jeep Cherokee. I like to use the small grease cartridges used in the Powerbuilt 648755 Mini Grease Gun. I already had the 12" flexible extension hose, which I prefer to the short, straight metal hose that comes with the kit (my Jeep has a grease gun that is difficult to access - a flexible extension works much better than a short pipe, which is a nice feature about this grease gun is that there are two places you can attach an extension (if…

Great grease gun, just do not use with Aqua Shield grease

This is a great compact grease gun. First one I've ever owned or used and it's easy to set up and use. Works great and easy to use and lubricates my winch and prop shaft. But if you find yourself topping this up with Aqua Shield lube, check for high temps. Aqua Shield is arguably the best lube for harsh and salty marine environments, but it's an absolute shame to work with because it's so thick, sticky, stringy, and smelly. Seriously, refilling that syringe with Aqua Shield grease was the most…
