I bought these for a small 6 gallon bin we have in one of the drawers and the reason I chose them is because they are compostable and i don't like it Going through so many plastic garbage bags. I didn't read carefully so I didn't understand they are not home compostable so I can't use them for their intended purpose. It is misleading that the packaging says COMPOSTABLE in big letters, but the fine print says they are for composting at municipal/industrial composting facilities only, and the packaging specifically says they are not for home composting. I think the advertising that the bag is compostable is a bit misleading, but the packaging says it's not suitable for composting in the garden. Unfortunately, I don't have a municipal composting facility nearby. The first few bags on the roll also had some blemishes (small holes) which I noticed when I put the bag in the bin.
