Works as well as expected

I usually use liquid nails but I had a chance to try this. My garage panel has a crack and it has shifted due to the earthquake. The sealing ring on the piston does not come into contact with the bore. So when it rains I get disturbed a bit and for a couple of days the water meanders and floods the corners. So I finally set the threshold. I washed the floor and slightly scratched it. Sikabond came out as expected. He folded the sill and scraped off the excess. Luckily we have more sun than…

Strong bond on wood but very difficult to extrude.

For an outdoor project, I glued some 1" mahogany around the edge. For some reason the material was very, very difficult to push out of the tube. I had to use almost two hands to pull the gun on me couldn't find the date code on the tube. The material is like caulk in consistency. I'm not familiar with the Insta grip, at least for this edge bonding. I found that the initial tack was slight and it was necessary to press the pieces together, while they cured. After a day of clamping, the pieces of…

I had schedule 40 pipe to attach to an outside wall and that not only worked but mixed with the gray color of the schedule 40 pipes so I didn't have a flashy second color either what would draw attention to this area. I definitely recommend this product. I watched the video and saw how useful it is even in areas where treatment flexibility is required. So I plan on keeping a fresh tube on hand in case I need it specifically for this feature as I don't know of any. another one with this…

Wow that's tough

I used this on a project that is a bit odd to most people. I make portable solar panels out of thin aluminum shields. They are very light and durable. So I attach flexible panels to the aluminum signs and the two boards are joined with a long edge so I can close them like a book. I have a plastic loop connecting them. However, I needed a way to install them. Screws don't work as the thin aluminum breaks. Enter this miracle glue. I made cuts on the surfaces, ran a strip along the plastic hinge…
