Soldering doesn't work properly.

I don't know if it's me or my soldering iron but this solder doesn't stick to anything. Solder does not stick to the soldering tip

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great solder but poor lid design

Solder is great, case material is well made but the lid is very tight making it difficult to access the internal solder for the first time. Had to use another tool to almost break the lid to access the solder.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not all fit

Yes it is solder for welding and soldering

I have been using solder professionally and at home for more than 30 years. And I can definitely state without fear of objection that this is the safest solder. And it works. As most solders should. It flows pretty well. I'm not sure what else to say about soldering.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Very expensive

Do not buy the SMALL version

The image of the small product is false advertising. The solder can be 70% of the tube length, not the entire length, and the tube is very small. As noted by other reviews for the small size, the lid is almost impossible to remove. I would only recommend options with a few larger packs, bigger and better for a small extra charge.

Pros
  • While you are satisfied
Cons
  • Functionality

It's ok just not the best soldering quality

It's ok, it serves its purpose. Apparently it has a lower melting point than usual. So if your gun temp is too high, it rolls and doesn't tick anything. And when it's low it sticks to the tip well enough, but you can't heat what it's soldered to. Eh kind of a loss to lose, but it's manageable

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Small things

This extra fine solder is ideal for sensitive electronics. The quality of the tin and lead mix is on the right level, done at just the right temperature, with no rolls or beads. The rosin core is good, providing enough rosin for good adhesion. Convenient Dispenser Convenient tube with flat walls that won't roll or curl. The funnel tip is great for extracting solder as it slides back into the dispenser (no need to remove the lid to restart it anymore). I recommend this product.

Pros
  • Freehand
Cons
  • Legacy

There was a problem applying this solder.

I bought this bob because I needed a smaller diameter bob for small chains. However, I have problems with it in most situations. It tends to roll and doesn't want to stick to the board. I'm still experimenting with this, but had to fall back on the lead-free ones I had at the moment, which don't leave clean, shiny connections. Update: I read where correct temperature is needed with this solder so I tried different settings on my iron and found that on my iron (Anbes) I had to set it to about…

Perfectly good solder but the case is amazing!

So the last thing I think about when I buy solder is that it's included. Usually my fine solder comes in a little plastic tube with a hole in the top. It's perfectly adequate and frankly just an afterthought. When I ordered this solder, I didn't think about the tube at all, and I'll tell you what. This is the best part of the list. Soldering is great, don't get me wrong, but it's just soldering. Normal solder. The pen holder, on the other hand, is thick-walled, feels good in the hand and is…

Great Price and Ease of Use

As long as you don't do anything stupid, this solder works great. It melts quickly and has sufficient surface tension. As long as I don't overheat the part and melt too much solder, I can cut through long rows of contacts very quickly. Of course, if you mess up, you'll end up with a pretty nasty lump that's hard to clean, but I blame the user more than that solder. I tried holding it like a pencil (because it's shaped that way) but quickly gave up and went back to applying solder with my…
