Odorless, melts easily.

After reading the negative reviews I was afraid this beeswax would smell but it didn't. The only thing I can smell upon opening the package is the usual smell of beeswax - actually something like a light floral scent. I used these pellets to make lotion bars and they melted easily in a water bath. I am very happy with the results and will happily buy these pellets in the future.

I always read product reviews before buying and everything looks pretty good. Well, maybe my order is "The One" because I wasn't impressed at all. Pellets melt well and all, but hello terribly miserable, smelly burning rubber, chemical smell. The smell overpowered every precious essential oil I've used and I feel like it was all for nothing! This is inappropriate. I even put the pellets in a mesh basket where they were allowed to air out of the packaging for a while. A week later they are just…

Non-white and non-cosmetic quality

Beeswax pellets have arrived and the label clearly states: white pellets, premium quality. But the pellets were actually yellow and had a stronger odor than Revain normally does. I tried melting a batch of it anyway for a product that doesn't really matter if it's white beeswax or not, but after melting it I found that this product was dry and flaky and pulled off the skin peeled off rather than covering it like a cosmetic. beeswax must. Very disappointed and sent back. Sharing photos, one…

Food Safe Finishes

Woodworking is my hobby and I am currently making cutting boards and cheese boards from exotic and local woods. I treated the boards with edible mineral oil but decided to add beeswax to the oil to make a spoonful of oil. I wanted white beeswax to avoid yellowing in the finish. Stakish's product worked well. It was easily soluble in oil and cooled to the consistency of a soft white paste. Several coats over several days leave a very smooth surface, protect the wood and polish it to a satin…

Disabled but usable?

When I opened the bag, I noticed the unpleasant smell; it redeems itself only a little by not seeming to release it after melting or when used in a candle. It's plasticky, chemically colored, with the negative aspects of a very peaty Scotch (all those bad burned rubber/wood bits?) and of course without the usual beeswax smell (although I don't know how much I expect it would be reasonable at to expect something more neutral from a more filtered product _is_ reasonable). I'll have to see if it's
