R410a Test Lead and Charge Hose

I used this test kit to add 16 ounces of R410a to a Dometic wheeled air conditioner. I had to touch the bottom sideline and this gauge and charging hose set did it. Worth the effort.

Suitable for single or double use. It did its job

Used for mini vacuum separation before refrigerant release. It worked. I could use some instructions as they are not included in the product. I had to remove the SAE pins from the included 1/4" male SAE to 5/16" female SAE before I could use it and had to figure out which side went where. Please add some basic instructions.

The temperature scale is calibrated in degrees Celsius, which makes it difficult to use!

Another poorly designed third party product on AmaDud. Don't buy this one. At first I thought temperature calibration scales were nonsense. Because none of the temperature scales are correct for any refrigerant that is claimed to be compatible with this gauge. After checking against the saturation pressure and temperature chart for the supported refrigerants, it turned out that the pressure gauge was calibrated in degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit. Amadud sells several inexpensive AC meters/kits…
