Mass for hungry turtles

My red-eared sliders ate this food when they were the size of a dime, now they're about 8 inches across and they still love it. And I love the huge tub so I don't have to refill every few weeks. I keep one of the small food containers to refill from this tub when needed.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Turtles love it! on Try it Subscribe and save

I own property on a freshwater lake. My wife and I love feeding the turtles at our dock. They love this turtle food. They come back every night to feed. We recently had 25 painted turtles. When they see us going to the pier, they start swimming. It's nice to know we're feeding them something useful. I have tried many other turtle foods. This is by far the most popular among our little friends.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Huge container! And he (she?) LOVES it!

Due to the price, I expected the containers to be pill sized, but they are huge! I ordered two, they last my baby for two years 🤣 He (she?) LOVES them! He loves it so much he knows the sound when I drop the food container and he immediately jumps off his little ramp and starts swimming like crazy and then attacks the food when I drop it! I've never seen so much movement in a turtle 😂

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

Tommy loves it most in Other Animals

I rescued a turtle in my alley that was heading onto Main Street with traffic. I planted them in a garden pond. After he got his own food for a few days, I decided to give him some free food. He quickly realized that living in my garden is a bonus because there is delicious food for turtles there. Now he's looking for me to go out and feed him. This wild turtle needed exactly one feeding to decide the food was good for swimming turtles. He eats every bite and looks very happy.

  • Rugged Finish

Great product to try Subscribe and save

I buy a 2.64 lb bag of Tetra Reptomin food sticks, mix it with a 12 ounce bag of Flukers Red Shrimp and 2 cans of Tetrafauna Repto Treat 2 , 18 oz. Red Suprema pellets in a pet food container (which stays fresh pretty well) and provides a MONTH food supply for my 2 adult RES. They get a serving of this mix every other day, with groceries in between, or every day when I'm traveling or running out of groceries for them, and for me it's a very economical way to keep them happy and healthy…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Only available in black

Huge for the price!

Honestly, when I ordered it, I didn't expect the container to be so big. I was expecting medium sized turtle chow for the $5 I spent, but this container has about 5 medium sized turtle containers in one. It was literally the size of my palm and forearm and we will definitely be keeping two of my Peninsula Cooters for about 3 months. I will never spend $5 at the pet store for a tiny container when I can get these mammoth sized pellets for the same price Turtles are 3 to 4 months old and here is…

The Red-eared Slider loves food and really swims!

Our 10+ inch red ear slider sucks! He has been with us for over ten years. He gnaws EVERYTHING and does not allow anything alive in his enclosure. The shards sink to the bottom and constantly pollute the water. The shards of this food float to the surface where he eventually eats all the small pieces. And he's chasing every bit of it like a puppy when he sees me with food in my hand. And no, he's not malnourished, just really excited to get that meal. He gets freeze-dried shrimp, aquatic plants

Pros
  • GOLS certified

  • Doubtful

Great for turtle owners, but shouldn't be the ONLY food

My husband and I have ten pet turtles of various sizes and this one food makes up most of their diet . We have mud turtles, sliders and card turtles. They all seem to be eating this food. We tried other products but they were much pickier. We're going to have a turtle (or two) that doesn't eat other brands and it's going to be difficult to remember who eats what food! It is important to note that turtles should have a varied diet. These foods are fine as part of a diet, but every turtle owner…

Pros
  • Ingredients Included: Tetra Reptomin Turtle/Newt/Frog Floating Food Sticks
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

This is by far the best product for my red-eared sliders, also known as pond sliders. That's how I got her close to the Guinness Book of World Records in captivity for her breed! I've tried other products in the 22 years that I've had 2 turtles and they just aren't as good. My biggest gripe with the others I have is that they aren't as hardy as these - the others break down quickly in the water leaving a lot of waste and I have to feed them slowly, handfuls at a time. Using ReptoMin (vet…
