Kit fits 2009 KTM 530 exc

Although Revain's website says it does not fit 2009 KTM 530 I ordered this part after checking the Trail Tech website. It fits perfectly. The bike comes pre-wired with a fan so installation was relatively easy. The fan works perfectly, so I no longer boil the radiator on hot days when riding slow technical tracks.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Fits perfectly on my 2009 KTM 250 XCF

A little pricey but worth the money in my opinion. Fits my 2009 KTM 250 XCF with no modifications hooked up to the existing KTM wiring harness. Quality product, turns on at exactly the temperature and turns off a degree lower. Easy to program and use. Very handy when stopping at the top of a long climb or in tight spots.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Negative

Excellent Quality.: Switches and Relays

Well written instructions. Easy installation. Looks like quality components. Includes wiring if your KTM doesn't have Loom Ready forks. Did 30 hard miles this Sunday in Tahoua. lots of stop-and-go starts and hill climbs in 1st and 2nd gear. The fan, set to 150 degrees, switched on and off without complaint. There was no overheating or boiling. YAAAAAA!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not sure

Great bolt on install and connected directly to mine.

Installed on a 2009 KTM 450 EXC. Great bolt on installation and connected directly to my wiring harness. Quality product from Trail Tech. One complaint is that it's very difficult (almost impossible) to read the temp gauge when my bike is wearing plastic, but that's not a big deal. I know my temperature is below 150 degrees while the fan is off.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • So-so

Fits perfectly on my 2015 350 XC-F and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I let the bike idle to get the temp up, and as soon as it hit the point set on the gauge, the fan kicked on immediately, bringing the temp down. The XC-W comes with a cooling fan, and for good reason. I'm glad I put this on my bike.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Good item in switches and relays

Ktm xcf350 has not overheated since I put it on. I ride tight tight slow trails and ride with my son in his 65's so I get a little overheated! No longer. Before that I had ice on the engine, but it was still overheating. I also added a cap for the higher pressure Tusk 2.1 which has a temp sensor. I think the combination of fan and engine noise really work together to make the bike run cooler. But I would say that the main blow falls on the fan! It was pretty easy to install.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Faulty

Has the meaning!

It doesn't matter. My XR650R got very hot on hard, tight trails. If you're not going fast enough to force air through the radiator, my bike will get hot fast. I've combined this with Engine Ice Coolant and it makes a world of difference. The fan doesn't draw much voltage from my stator and I hardly notice it turning on. If you are fitting this on a 650R you MUST remove the radiator on the right hand side and get creative. The manual does not give any advice.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Worth every penny Best switches and relays

My KTM 450 got to very high temperatures in the sand before I installed this wonderful piece of equipment! When driving on sand, very rough terrain, slow speed and high temperatures, the car never reached 225. The fan began to blow quietly, then during technical maneuvers rose higher almost without speed, really removing heat from the radiator . This is a must unless you just drive at high speed! The only problem is that the display never turns off, so I'm pretty sure the battery won't last…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in black

Cool the bike!

This fan got my bike ready to ride again! The 2008 KTM EXC-R 450 is a great bike, but if you take it around town with lots of stops and idling, it will end up spewing coolant. everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. It just can't handle idle work. I connected this fan to Engine Ice coolant and a CV4 radiator cap and now my bike stays cool. The fan was very easy to install. I had to drain the coolant anyway, so getting to the radiator wasn't a problem. It was a bit scary to screw in the screws…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
