Like many others, I have a wireless router and modem in the main house garage. My office is across the driveway (about 150 feet) and my wi-fi signal had to go through 2 garage doors and was just plain unreliable. There is a repeater in my office building. Both routers and repeaters are Amped Wireless products (good stuff). I hooked up a new antenna to one of my repeater's channels and the results were amazing. The signal is lower than the factory Omni

25 year old IT technician. I tried using them at a network node to boost the signal in a pool 150 feet away from indoor antennas. Using a good quality Trend Net network cable, I tried this antenna both window mounted and laser aligned and outdoor mounted and laser aligned. The signal dropped in some areas around the house due to the loss of Omni and speed was generally no better in the pool and was much more isolated. This panel antenna works really well.

I was pleasantly surprised by the increase in gain in both the 2.4 and 5GHz bands compared to the so-called high gain sticks I've used. I wasn't sure how it would work if I just had a panel antenna on either of the two antenna connectors on my PC's Wi-Fi adapter card, but it improved the signal overall from the -50dB range to the - 39dB range. I live in an apartment across from the university building with Eduroam hotspots. Using the standard antennas that came with my Asus PCIE network card (PCE-AC56), I was *almost* able to get a normal connection, but it wasn't strong enough for video streaming and it dropped frequently. Bravo TUPAVKO! This antenna provides excellent directional gain for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi signals. I hold an FCC amateur and commercial amateur radio license and have purchased and built many antennas over the years. This is a beautifully built and working antenna. I created a series of 4 of these blocks in 40 degree sectors to cover a campus of 7 canyon houses. They are connected to a Netgear AC1900 gaming router powered by a Viasat modem. Update the previous mismatched set of 2.4GHz antennas. There is nothing wrong with 2 Amped Wireless 2.4GHz 14 DBi antennas, but 2 Cushcraft 9 DBi antennas are not enough.
