Problem best solved in spare tire holders

This thing completely solved my spare tire problem. It was very easy to install and the finished product looks amazing!

Your tire will stick out a lot from the tailgate unless you use a large positive bias.

Really had to bend it to line up the holes. The spare part sits so far away from the tailgate that I had to make extensions for the dampers on the tailgate. I ended up dismantling everything and throwing away the spare part. I didn't want to destroy my back door.

Fairly easy to fit but not very user friendly

It's hard to find an affordable spare wheel carrier and for the price it was good. It was very easy to put together, but it didn't match the factory holes in the tailgate at all, so it caught in a vise and expanded within 24 hours. A little muscle later and it fitted well. It's nice to have a replacement behind me again.

Good product at an amazing price.

Ideal product for transporting a larger than standard tire without having to spend $800 or more on a tire carrier/bumper combo. Moves the tire mounting surface 3" away from the tailgate. Very durable product, the finish is amazing. The included new nuts were a nice touch. Would love to have new mounting hardware to mount it to the tailgate but that's finicky. I'd also like to see slightly longer mount hardware to allow more threads to protrude through the mount, but again minor issues. Easily…
