good for gaming - video projectors

is best for watching movies but is also good for gaming as the input lag is low compared to most HDTVs. It can be compared to the Asus "evo" monitor, which is known for its low latency. It's good for movies, bright enough and the settings are good enough to give a good picture. There is a hole for a tripod at the bottom, covered with a sticker. Cons of this device: focus warm-up and intermittent focus throughout the frame. If you use it as a computer monitor or to display text full screen, you…

It's worth the wait in video projectors

For a long time I've been waiting for a small portable projector with at least 100 lumens of brightness and at least 720p resolution - Qumi was the first projector that met my requirements. I bought it as an alternative to a TV for my bedroom. The Qumi sits on a small shelf above the bed and is projected onto the opposite wall to form a huge screen (80-90 inches) that looks great (when the lights are off). Next to it is a Roku box. to stream Netflix/Hulu Plus/MLB.tv etc videos over my wireless…

Video Projectors Worth the Wait

The Qumi projector had to wait a long time due to multiple delays due to a manufacturing defect and Vivitek supply failures. But the wait was worth it. I have an Optoma HD65 720P projector and I love it. Optoma is light, bright and very portable. While the Qumi doesn't produce an image as large and dynamic as my Optoma, it still holds its own. The Qumi is surprisingly bright for 300 lumens and the colors are very rich. The picture is sharp and clear. And the mobility of the Qumi is fantastic…

Powerhouse is good for video projectors

I love this powerful little projector. Image quality is excellent! I've tried multiple connections to the projector. USB flash drive - I've tested a few - A new flash drive works best with a small number of files. I uploaded some movie and PowerPoint files. Both seem to work fine. I attached my trusty Sandisk backup that I bought about a year ago with a few files. not recognized that I have files. I took out the micro SD card from the Android phone and I could see files and folders. I was able…

Great little projector!

I have had this projector for about 7 months now and I love it. At first I was apprehensive about the mini HDMI but it turned out not to be an issue as it comes with a full sized mini HDMI cable. I connect it to my Sony PS3 all the time and project a screen of about 80 inches. Bluray movies look amazing, games are amazing. It looks just as good as a regular lamp projector without worrying about lamp life and in HD. The LEDs make the picture very intense and saturated, which I think increases…

would be a 5 inch video projector

Cons I'm lazy, no power button on the remote but small and portable, no AV RCA adapters or audio jack. However, it comes with mini HDMI to standard HDMI, but it is recommended to buy a lesbian female to female adapter to connect a longer HDMI cable. * It took me about 30 feet from the AVR to the projector to get an 8 foot wide screen. You need to leave the projector on for about 5 minutes to warm up the lamp and then OK to arm it. If you can get your hands on a THX optimizer, use it to…

Okay, there's a lot of room for improvement.

This is my first projector. Apart from that I can only compare projection TVs, LCDs and HD plasma TVs. The picture isn't as realistic as on the new LCD or plasma, but it makes for a 92-inch screen versus a 52-inch screen. I had a Samsung Plasma 3D TV that never worked properly (still in a fight with Samsung to get my money back. They make good products but pray you never have a problem. Your help is at best a joke, 8 months and an invoice) sorry, a bit touchy subject. DLP Link 3D is very good…
