It really works, I'm thrilled!

My antique piano was in really bad shape, I thought it was hopeless until I came across Walrus furniture oil. You can see what he did for my piano! This is a necessary item!

Pros
  • Curing/Cure Oil
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Great, I've already ordered a second one.

Excellent product gives a beautiful rich finish. On the table, I diluted it with regular teak oil to go a little further and thinned it down a bit to make it easier to absorb.

Pros
  • Matte finish
Cons
  • Factor Set

Smell won't go away

Easy to apply and gives a beautiful color to the wood. Disappointed with how long the oil stays "wet" and keeps smelling. 2 months after applying just one coat it still smells and I'm afraid to apply anything porous to the treated wood for fear there will be oil stains at the end.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Quality

Love this stuff, almost odorless

I use this polymerizable oil blend instead of straight tung oil. I use it without cuts, it is easy to apply and absorbs quickly. One of my favorite features is that it doesn't smell like other polymerizing oils like BLO or tung oil. It may seem to take a little longer to heal, but once you stop cutting, what's the rush?

Pros
  • FDA food grade ingredients
Cons
  • Damaged

Fast becoming my only finish

I've been moving toward this group of finishes; polymerizing oils. I started this journey with a diluted poly in the form of Danish Oil, which worked reasonably well but left me with all the effort for a more natural look. I have used 0smo and still use a single layer two piece alternative for countertops and items that get heavier use (the one I use for this was designed for floors and is quite expensive. I found this alternative recently and used it. It worked well on Walnut, Ash, Maple, and…
