It's a badass horn

This is a badass horn. I put it on yesterday and today I rode my 2016 FLS Soft Tail Slim 200 miles around Houston. Met a lot of people texting and driving and honking their pathetic asses with a horn. It's noisy. I've also encountered many drivers on the left (passing lane) and passed them on the right, honked their horn even though their passenger door was open, and drove on. Many of them switched to the right lane. This will probably be one of the smartest purchases I've ever made on my bike.

Pros
  • If you're looking to add some luxury to your motorcycle or engine bay then Big Bad Max Chrome is for you
Cons
  • No

Wish it had a mounting plug for the horn connector

I like the horn and the sound is good. The wiring was straight (just a regular relay). The problem I have is that the only place I had to place the horn was perpendicular against the firewall. As a result, the ground wire is constantly being pulled out by gravity and road vibrations. I have to reconnect it every 2 weeks or so. I've searched the internet for a connector that snaps onto the horn, but I don't think they do. I think next time it comes loose I'll solder the SOB in place.

Pros
  • Easy to install with a screw provided, transfer the factory horn wires to the Maxs supercharger and the installation is complete
Cons
  • Not sure

Disgusting sound - lights and electrics

I have some old bad boy (not chrome) that is very loud and sounds good. I went with the Chrome Bad Max which was supposed to sound louder and better but NOT in this case, it doesn't look like what is projected on their website comparing Bad Boy and Bad Max. I am in the process of returning this horn and purchasing a Kurykin case for my current horn. Oh, for those with volume issues, make sure the connectors are in good contact and the polarity is correct, if the negative and positive connectors

Pros
  • Big truck horn with nice shiny chrome trim
Cons
  • It's ok

The horn that doesn't blow.

The horn arrived quickly, was fairly easy to install and was very loud. It's been on my bike for a month now (Road Glide Ultra 2013). I was driving home from work on Sunday and managed to honk the horn and there was nothing. When I got home I took it off (put the factory horn back on). The block fell apart, 2 screws were missing and the block didn't work. I contacted the seller (Biker Highway), he called me 24 hours later and agreed to collect the product in exchange (I have to pay shipping)…

Pros
  • Fit: Universal
Cons
  • Expensive

Great air horn at a great price.

I love these horns! They are loud and beautiful. Chrome looks great on my bike and the loud, deep sound lets inattentive riders know I'm out too. I would give it 5 stars but if you don't use it regularly it starts to sound like a torn duck until you blast it a few times to get that rich sound back. It's definitely worth the money if you buy it from Revain, it's a lot cheaper than buying it through a bike shop and shipping is fast. In case you were wondering, it comes with a relay to protect the

Pros
  • One-piece, patented design requires no tubing like regular sonic horns
Cons
  • So far so good
