High quality, simple solution

This is exactly the product I needed for my automatic drain pump backup battery. The box is of good quality with cables. They even add labels to the cables so you know where to attach them. I did not disassemble the thing, but everything indicates high quality. As soon as I plugged it in, I heard the switch click, knowing the power was on. When I pull the plug out of the wall, the switch drops off and the drain pump pumps from the inverter. It works perfectly. While not necessarily a cheap…

Great for small solar systems

I've been working from home since this COVID mess. About a month ago it dawned on me that I could easily run my laptop and 2 monitors on solar power. My setup worked great, but at night I had to manually switch to mains power as soon as my battery ran out. With this ATS I set it up so that the inverter is utility and vice versa as someone else here mentioned in the comments. My inverter has a remote on/off switch so switching between solar and utility modes is as easy as pushing a button and…

Works as described.

I used it on the side of the AC outlets of my electrical box so it wouldn't interfere with high powered appliances like the microwave, water heater and air conditioner. However, the switch that powers it was a 20A breaker, which is more than the box's rating. I'm not sure if they make a 20A version, but in my case it would be slightly better since I'm using an electric heater and coffee pot in this circuit, which combined exceed the box's rating. The wires coming out of the box are a bit short,

solar switch! works fine for me.

Solar Switch! works fine for me. So I have a couple of deep cycle RV batteries in a shed near my house that get charged by 100w and 50w panels. I ran 12 volt power through a vent in the foundation of the house under the floor and went upstairs to my entertainment center. I have security cameras that can be seen on the additional TV in this entertainment center. When it's sunny I use a 600w Samlex inverter (sine wave) to power the TV. Before I got the relay transfer switch I'm considering, I had

Have been looking for this type of switch for a long time to use at our remote cabin. and dense forests in southern Indiana, about an hour from any major city. We're in a large valley by a small lake and we don't have a cellular intercom without our Wilson 70db amplifier (you need a newer self-regulating unit that always maintains reception, not the old manually tunable units). We had almost no OTA TV without a Winegard LNA-200 amplifier on 2 antennas in the attic and Denny's Stacker UHF/VHF…
