This tape is fantastic! I just ordered 2 more rolls. I immediately ordered another brand. This one works MUCH better! The 2 inch width provides a much better seal. I have old windows and the humidity in Texas is insane. I couldn't get it below 60-70% in my house. I put it on yesterday and it's already down 40% in New York! You can even see how much air my windows let in. Yes. One roll covered all but two windows in my house. Great price and great liability. I am so glad I found this product.

I used this tape to seal 1920's windows in a rental apartment. They definitely leave a sticky residue on the windows and the tape won't come off my air conditioner. I have to take a hair dryer to remove the air conditioner and tape to remove it. I moved into an apartment with window blocks already installed on the windows, so in addition to trying to winterize the windows, I had to try to seal off the places where the cold air was getting in. I really like that it's not silver! For me it's not such a pain in the eyes. I also like that I can use it without scissors and it's easy to remove if I messed something up. I didn't get it perfect, but the tape is forgiving without causing damage when I put it on and off. Didn't notice if there was anything left as I only had it for a week. I used this tape to put vinyl wraps on exterior windows in December. Yes I know I'm a bit late and was quite skeptical that they would hold up on painted metal. While the tape does its job (several weeks). Installed the vinyl panels when the outside temperature was between 15F and 20F. Be sure to clean the surface with alcohol first. This is a really good weather band. I have Anderson windows and they all have cold air coming through the top and sides, needless to say it makes me unhappy, but I only use this tape to mask off areas where air is getting through and it helps. it blocks it. I had to take the tape off a couple of times for window repairs and I was able to reapply the tape and it still worked and it was just sticky. Won't stick to clean wood surfaces (like my wood window frames) and hardly sticks to windows! it does not protect against cold drafts - the windows in my apartment are very old and therefore quite cold/drafty in winter.
