Just posting an accurate, day by day diary of my interactions with the terrible people at Sorare. I REALLY wanted to like this platform but in the first few weeks I have found Sorare to be a buggy and insecure platform that is designed and run by some of the most incompetent people I have even had the displeasure of doing business with.
Pros:
System isn't bad if it weren't for the security issues and obvious bugs.
Cons:
System is extremely buggy.
Cards get stolen by the platform with no attempt at reimbursing what you paid or giving ANY notice.
Support is atrocious and you'll be lucky to get anything resembling a straight answer.
The system has more in common with scam applications that is comfortable. Many red flags with this platform.
I lost a few hundred dollars testing this. Don't let it happen to you.

Website REFUSED to process bids on a card. The first time it just said that the application "failed" and put me back on the bidding page. The second time, it made me type in a TFA code, which basically meant I wasn't allowed to bid on that item at all since the process of placing the bid takes longer than the time a user has to place a bid, which is generally 1 minute. There are some parts of the Sorare bidding system that work okay but this part is a disaster. Just keep in mind that the system is designed in a way that means that you will lose some auctions through no fault of your own at all, just because the application basically failed.

Our account was suspended due to "suspicious activity" which amounted to the combination of the account being newly established as well as the fact that I tried to buy a card through my phone, which apparently was enough to trigger the absolute full force of their ban hammer to come down immediately and without any real explanation. In the end it was restored but the Sorare team refused to accept any responsibility for the fact that their system flagged and suspended our account for no real reason at all. This should be a red flag to anyone because this sort of "quick to ban" activity is pretty common in companies that plan to run off with your money.

We received a message this morning saying that one of the cards we bought on their marketplace was being "reverted". Opened a ticket for support and they literally responded to the first ticket asking us to open ANOTHER ticket. So far they haven't responded but it appears that either this is another in a growing list of emails that get fired incorrectly, or the Sorare has the ability to just straight up steal your cards. We'll see how this ends but could very well be the final nail in the coffin for them in my book.
As of almost a week later, the card that they said was "reverted" has not been reverted and remains in my collection. Although they sent me three different "receipts" to show that they had refunded the amount I paid, that does not appear to be the case according to my bank statement and the card still appears to be in my collection. Sorare support claims that this is typical and that they see this as a positive user experience. Since joining Sorare, I have received numerous false emails that claim to give info about my account but are totally incorrect.

Sorare rejected more payments for no reason whatsoever. They tried to blame my bank but my bank says that no attempts were even made to charge the account. Sorare runs some sort of janky payment system that appears to be VERY unreliable. Based on what I have seen, it's probably costing them thousands of dollars a month in sales that it is failing to even attempt to process.

Definitely some very sketchy stuff going on with this site. Finished in 947th place and would have gotten a prize except Sorare changed the scores HOURS AFTER all of the games were finished. It seems that they just adjust the scores after the fact and I'm not completely sure anyone ever wins anything on this platform.

Sorare sent an email this morning stating that I had "transferred" a card, ven though no such transfer ever occurred
Submitting a support request through the normal channels (email) is not supported by Sorare for whatever bizarre reason. If you submit a support request by email you literally get a message saying the request was opened and then shortly after you get another message asking you to open a second support request because they don't support email. These people ere 100% incompetent and I wouldn't trust them with my library card at this point, much less payment info. I removed all payment methods from my Sorare account.
Don't just trust me, do your research before you even consider joining. They get terrible ratings all around and there are clearly THOUSANDS of people out there that have been ripped off by this company. Check Trustpilot or other reputable sites but be aware that Google promotes false articles about this company that are all written by the company itself and do not in any way reflect the experience of what appears to me thousands of users.
