Complete disappointment, the product is not at all what I imagined.

For six months - 2 (TWO Karl!) breakdowns - at first it simply ceased to be detected in the system - the software solution to the problem did not help, because it was the hardware itself (the relay stopped working when the headphones were connected), took it under warranty for 45 days fooled their heads and could not determine what with it, they gave out a NEW one a month ago, - yesterday, on 05/18/2022, the sound disappeared, just like that, in the middle of the game, a reboot, reinstalling…

    Pros
    • Beautiful appearance, "backlight", that it is "external" and is at hand, good reinforcement
    Cons
    • Workmanship, mediocre sound on a good DAC, there were devices with much better implementation, and cheaper.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

This little thing can make your weak headphones with a mediocre sound (moderately mediocre of course) play completely differently, cleaner, more transparent and more pleasant (not to mention the fact that you can adjust the sound as you wish through a proprietary application from Creative ) and the same thing happens with average microphones, the quality of the recorded voice becomes clearer and more transparent a million times. I myself have Razer Kraken headphones of the year, so probably…

    Pros
    • 1 - This is an external sound card, this is immediately a plus, the plus is that you can connect it to anything, well, I also heard that sometimes internal sound cards can have noise, whether it's because of the video card, or because of a poor-quality unit power supply and unstable power supply from such a unit, I don’t know, I didn’t figure it out, but I didn’t take risks😋 2 - I liked the appearance very much, it seems as if it is made of metal, in fact it is plastic, but pleasant to the touch (I saw this card in a disassembled state, well, everything is not so beautiful there😉😅) 3 - There is an adjustable backlight on the letter X, there is only white backlight on the volume control ring, you can turn it off here and there if you wish) 4- A powerful and not expensive audio card, I read reviews and it can seem like headphones even more than 300 ohm to swing, well, it will also get warm under such loads.
    Cons
    • At first I didn’t understand why the microphone didn’t work, it didn’t work at all, neither through one connector where headphones with micro are connected, nor through another, where an external-separate microphone is connected, then I turned off the Direct mode and it all worked, why it doesn’t work is not clear in this mode, but I can assume that all the emphasis is on the purity and quality of the sound, which is why the microphones are cut down, well, this is a trifle! But what is not a trifle for me personally, I would certainly like to connect both headphones and speakers simultaneously to the sound card through an analog input and not through a digital one, why do we need these numbers😉😁

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

The card is very good. I use it in games and for listening to music (streaming services, lossless) in conjunction with Shure SRH440. Plays very well for its price. Nobody has such omnivorous listening formats in this price category. In games I tried to use improvers, but as for me, it's better without them. I listen to different types of music, but for the most part I prefer four genres - rock, funk, jazz and soul. To be honest, I did not get so many positive emotions from the banal listening…

    Pros
    • The sound here is clean, strong, pleasant. Good headphone amplifier. The sound from the microphone is sweet! Support for listening formats up to 32/384 with Direct mode (interesting little thing). Good sound including on speakers (line/optical out). Software - a lot of interesting features, but there are also disadvantages (about them below).
    Cons
    • Soft, maybe it's just me, but still. If you use Nvidia Shadowplay to instantly repeat, and during recording, remove and plug in the headphones, then somehow there is no sound from the speakers on the video (but there is from the microphone). It heats up quite a bit when listening to music from headphones, but this is more a feature than a drawback :) Unless the price could be lower, 15-16 it is expensive. You can note the tightness of the supports, they answer the question asked the third time (although the problem may be in me (:). One gets the feeling that they work according to the training manual, delving into the essence of the problem a little. But from the third letter you can get an exhaustive answer that solves your problem .

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

So-so quality, price doesn't match quality.

I took it with plans, but I use it with simple ears (Sennh PX80, AT M50x, M40x, Logitech G PRO (old and X versions), EarPods) and for inexpensive intra-channels on LANs (TRN v80, V90s). Tested with buyers 770 pro, Fiio FD5, 7Hz Timeless, TRN Kirin, but this is too much for the G6. In my old computer, the mother Asus P8Z77-V PRO with Realtek 892 does not sound much worse . Yes, there is no VCL, and they don’t plow high-ohm there, but, damn it, G6 is not worth the money compared to this…

    Pros
    • BACKLIGHT - works =) You can add to the number of effects, but the device should not be about this at all. POWERFUL HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER - almost any headphone will play loudly INTERESTING DESIGN, looks cool, futuristic, but stylish and strict at the same time. WEAKLY HEATS (unlike older generations such as E5 or G5). And in LO and HI amp mode. In high-resistance, of course more, but not critical.
    Cons
    • SOUND - that's all they write here, they say the sound is fire . As for me, it's such an ordinary sound that it's terrible for an external device. Sound, how to describe . synthetic or something. Level Realtek 892 in a good harness, only louder and for ears up to 600 ohms and with a slightly different stylistic color. In the Edifier R2700, IMHO, the DAC sounds better, even if it is coordinated with the speaker components at the factory. Although the speakers completely with him cost like G6, and they are not ideal. The VOLUME / MICROPHONE LEVEL CONTROL, when turned vigorously, skips "cutoffs" (the wheel itself is without cutoffs, I mean in terms of influencing the volume), and sometimes it "twirls" the volume on the other side. Perhaps this is a protection against stunning - listening to music louder than 50% already hurts on the ears, about 100db of sensitivity and 32 Ohm (average value for the market), otherwise you can’t sharply increase the volume by accident. Terrible ERGONOMICS - the wheel is not conveniently recessed into the body; the force on the buttons and the weight of the device require you to hold the card when you press it; it is impossible to let the sound on several outputs at the same time (for example, on the ears and the line output). CURVE SOFT - the settings often fall off, when changing modes, the equalizer sometimes, in principle, "randomizes", the control logic of everything and everything is very C grade, the first time not everyone will have a complete understanding of what goes where. Sometimes a disabled item actually works, but to turn it off, you need to turn it on and unscrew it to zero, and only then turn it off. Often the software forgets the profiles and resets the SBX or EQ profile settings. MICROPHONE INPUT . well, it kind of is. Kind of works. But sometimes the built-in realtek writes sound better. Let's just say - the minimum level so that your breathing with interference and noise can be heard normally in the discord. PRICE - incommensurable with the issued sound. Its sound is better than the built-in ones, but so little that it's better to throw a third or a half of the cost of the G6 into the mother and get more goodies in the computer as a whole. Buying a G6, IMHO, is justified only for LANs (to have a custom-built sound on the road) and for consoles.

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

As soon as I connected it, without settings, I immediately liked the sound, although it didn’t seem expensive or something. But I decided not to stop there: I turned on Crystallizer, adjusted the equalizer to my taste and my headphones, transferred all the music to Flac, set up the foobar2022 through Asio and now I'm catching a fierce buzz. I even now listen to tracks that didn’t really deliver to me before. Crystallizer does some real magic, the sound becomes MUCH better and more detailed…

    Pros
    • 1) Sound. At first I wanted to buy an external DAC, which could be connected to a smartphone and a PC, but the sound there didn’t really impress me. I didn't expect anything to change here. But in the end, the sound here impressed, and how! More details below 2) Crystalizer. Just a gun! I'm not sure if this is a good thing for an "audiophile", but I just want to listen to nice sounding music. This feature dramatically improves the quality of compositions even through music in the browser 3) 7.1, if tuned correctly, sounds very, very worthy. The sound does not deteriorate and really acquires volume. I use it all the time in games and have had no complaints so far. There were real cases when it was directed through the wall exactly at the enemy. But, of course, it depends on the game, somewhere the sound is not implemented very well 4) software. Installed, configured, no problems, well, it looks stylish. I saw that many are unhappy with it, but this is visible on older versions 5) Through the adapter works with a smartphone
    Cons
    • Plastic housing only if. It looks like metal, so there is such a claim, because at first you are deceived by this. But for me it's not a problem, so I'm personally happy with everything.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

Listening to music through a sound card, and even one with good headphones, you find yourself in another world. P. S. But it’s worth understanding when buying fig headphones there will be no sense, and vice versa too.

    Pros
    • Large range of settings. Superbly open headphones (I have HyperX Cloud Alpha) In my opinion, this is a great combination of excellent headphones and a wonderful sound card.
    Cons
    • The application / software sometimes thinks that the device is not connected, you have to reboot. This happened a couple of times.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

My first audio card, I advise music lovers to buy, especially if you have good ears or acoustics, but also for an upgrade for the future, if you don’t bother with sound, then pass by.

    Pros
    • 1. Sound, in comparison with the built-in Realtek® ALC892 codec, heaven and earth, even on a simple 2.1 Microlab acoustics and an old Creative headset, you can hear the difference, and not only in volume, the sound has become more assertive, details have appeared, the sound has become lively and melodic, there is a Yamaha receiver, so I'm talking in comparison. I took it mainly for music and for the ears, it’s also cool in games, I won’t say about positioning. I plan to take normal ears. 2. Portability, a plus for me, you can connect different devices that are not tied to a PC. They write that the built-in often emits noise, due to the placement inside the case, there is no extraneous noise, for those who have clicks or noise / interference, I advise you to try connecting to different usb (including ating the USB controller drivers) and through a good wire , I had clicks and noises in usb 3.0 (before ating the drivers), as well as through a cheap usb-hub, connected directly to usb 2.0 - everything is fine, ated the drivers for 3.0, it also became normal. 3. Compact. 4. It doesn't heat up, I drove it for 6 hours, then headphones, then acoustics - 30 degrees. You need to try with high-resistance ones.
    Cons
    • 1. IMPORTANT! The USB cable in the kit must be immediately thrown out and not connected through it, all the glitches that are written in the reviews were caught when the card was connected with this particular wire, connected with the old one from the phone, no glitches, noises, etc. works like clockwork. 2. Price

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I have HyperX cloud alpha headphones, although the sound has become better and cleaner, but anyway, a gaming headset is a gaming headset, it is great for games and movies, but it’s still weak for music, a good duet for this sound device will probably be a DT770 PRO 80ohm bayer speaker /250ohm or something similar. Keep in mind if you have top realtek codecs, for example ALC1220 and not top-end headphones, then you will not get a wow effect from this card, and the sound will be cleaner and more…

    Pros
    • sound
    Cons
    • the price is probably a little expensive, but this is more a problem of a weak, and not of Creative's inflated appetites. I don’t use much time, for nitpicking I need a long experience)

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

It's a really good sound card, with a few shortcomings in favor of heating. Excellent software in which you can customize anything. I took the sound headphone DT 770 250OM, the volume margin is huge, I think even 600 Ohm headphones will pull. I also checked this sound on old Chinese headphones for 2,000, and even she was able to bring them to a new level. I think whoever wants a good sound with inexpensive headphones can buy it and any headphones more expensive than 3-4 thousand. The only thing

    Pros
    • Connectivity Good software Can drive even 250 ohm headphones
    Cons
    • Price: I would like a couple of thousand cheaper It gets very hot: if your apartment has +30 in summer, then the sound card starts to heat up and very, very strongly. On YouTube, people even attach additional radiators

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

Long doubted to take or not to take and in vain. The sound is just amazing. I listen with AT ATH-M50x headphones. The sound is very detailed, even too much for some compositions (defects can be heard during recording). I listen to lossless and music. I listened to the lossless collection and enjoyed it a lot :) . Music in HQ lags behind in quality, especially in direct comparison, but other streaming services are even worse (absolutely). I tried different enhancers on the map, but I liked it…

    Pros
    • Sound quality
    Cons
    • Didn't find

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product for me, I was satisfied with the price.

At the moment, despite the fact that the sound system is positioned as a gaming one, it has nothing to offer besides the soft scout mode, I see no reason to take it. I think it opens up at high volume with good ears, but gaming doesn't need that much power. I think I'll screw it to a future home theater assembly or somewhere else. I’ll add it after a long time of use, with good ears the sound is very pleasant, straight uh, I am satisfied

    Pros
    • form factor, although many criticize it on the contrary, I think that everything is quite convenient and compact) amplifier, so my raiser ears haven’t wobbled yet)) You can connect to almost anything.
    Cons
    • I’ll make a reservation right away that I first of all evaluate the sound in games, and I have headphones of an average price category (I left the sound system, so I’ll have to pump it). to be honest, I expected something more, I saw enough admiring reviews and decided to order, in fact, after switching from the built-in motherboard (msi mpg z390 pro), I didn’t notice much difference, I checked it in cs: go. Sweet-voiced bloggers promised me a super sound, but in fact a slightly more bass sound of shots and that's it, then I tested it on doom eternal, I also can't say that I was impressed. But when I connected to the PS5, I was pleasantly surprised, apparently the sound system there is quite weak, with the gain it’s just like a buzz. Next, I downloaded a couple of deep purple albums in a bottle, the music plays well, depth and clarity have increased, but since I first took it for games, I was somehow a little upset that for 13k I really didn’t feel anything)

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little bit not what I expected, generally fine.

First impressions were good, but after a while I noticed that the sound of the microphone was "jackal" (strong crackling and hum). The sound also began to disappear (I checked the headphones, they work). I've looked all over the internet, but there's nothing. I asked other users, they said to return under warranty. That's exactly what I did. I got my money back and I bought the same audio card. The first day everything was fine, but then it started. I ran into the SAME problem. I do not know…

    Pros
    • + Pretty good sound. + Design + Functionality (For the average user)
    Cons
    • - Expensive - The sound in the headphones constantly disappears. (More in the comments) - Sometimes the microphone starts to "jackal". (More in the comments) P. S 2 and 3 point solved (The problem turned out to be in the wire)

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Excellent product, the best quality.

Unveiling my honest evaluation.Got pros: Great sound on the Beyerdynamic Custom One. Nice body. Different cons: Lack of a proprietary utility for Debian and others.

It was purchased for 11,000, and, in principle, it costs its money, as a very high-quality plug for games and music. Feelings from the transition from a good integration with the motherboard as the transition from a 60Hz monitor to 144Hz. Pros below: Sound, especially with normal headphones, minimalist appearance, huge volume margin, can be connected to the phone Has cons: The software, I had to spend the evening with this article about Creative, in order to set up the sound that I want. With…

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

if you use headphones exclusively, then I recommend buying it, and if you prefer speakers, then I advise you to take a closer look at x3 from the same manufacturer Pros below: excellent sound, different SBX profiles for games and movies, direct mode for listening to music Got cons: used to have software, but now it has been ated, so there are no shortcomings

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

Has some pros: Cool sound with very fine tuning through the program, works great with both PC and consoles. The device saved my ears from the standard sound from PS4) Pumps any, even studio headphones Has some cons: The price has jumped too much lately, the optical input is only Toslink mini, you need an adapter for standard Toslink, only support stereo

When I read I saw complaints that it is heated. I don't get warm. Works fine 24/7. I also read complaints that the LED shines very brightly at night. Also . Doesn't shine. The indicator on top is configurable up to shutdown. Different pros: Great sound. I won’t say that there is some dramatic difference with the sound on the motherboard, but it’s good, yes. Cons below: Yes, everything is fine. Didn't expect miracles. There were no miracles. I don't actually use the volume control on the front…

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

The volume of the review had to be reduced due to the limitation of 2022 characters. I switched to this sound system from the built-in. The first impression: I started listening without installing "firewood" and software. I listened for a short time, the sound went into a cyclic reboot, forcing the PC to constantly switch the sound output device. Not wanting to believe in marriage, I downloaded proprietary software from the site, rebooted the computer and continued to “listen”. Reboots are…

    Pros
    • Sound. Very high quality sound. Straight fire.
    Cons
    • These side ons, personally, seem useless to me. They are not comfortable to use, small, difficult to . Proprietary software is also not very good. There are many functions, the transition from Direct to SBX profiles requires a lot of "poking". But this is purely a quibble.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Has some pros high-quality DAC for games and music, as well as movies. virtual 5.1\7.1 works as 32bit 96kHz. Cons below: in the new command, in order for surround to work, you must also enable the crystalyzer slider.
