    Great digital scale!

The DWL80Pro digital level is great for demanding jobs where you don't have a lot of space. Once the level is calibrated it becomes very accurate and easy to use. His credential compares well to the level of my highly paid engineer. I definitely recommend this remedy.

Not quite up to PRO level yet

Does the job 90% of the time. It gets a little confused (stuck) 10% of the time. You can protect it, do it. I can't jump into a toolbox on a construction site. (The carabiner will break, just like mine). For all that I like it. 90% of the time. Now I carry it in my shirt pocket next to my heart and stay alert.

    Great first impression

I just got it yesterday so haven't had a chance to get it working. It seems to be the quality level only experimenting with it at home. I really like how the calibration process works. I also like that it's small enough to carry in my pocket or hang on my belt loop. I'll be using it to improve the tech and will update my review after I put it into production. The only downside is that it doesn't have a backlit display, so I need a flashlight every now and then.

Elegant device with a small flaw

Beautiful and portable. We got a "yes" because there are both degrees and percentages of slope. There is a magnet on the bottom that keeps it in place. Clear and easy to read screen. One thing could be improved: when the device turns off automatically, it takes more than 3 minutes before it can be turned on again. At first we thought the battery was dead, but it just has a long restart time after auto-shutoff. I was told I would get a free case if I left a review.

Works well but difficult to read

Having never owned a digital level I hadn't realized before I bought it how difficult it would be to read the display. The numbers themselves are easy to read, but the indicator of a positive or negative number is almost impossible to see even with reading glasses. So I have to adjust the level up and down a few times and watch the numbers to see when they crossed zero to see if I'm looking at a positive or negative number. However, it works great.

    Pros
    • Very good price

    • Questionable purchase for seniors

    Pretty good for the price

Bought one of these as a spare for work. Not expensive so if I drop it (or it goes away) it's okay. The display is easy to read and has some good features. I set it up on a granite surface at our shop with a few much more expensive units to test for accuracy. Not bad, but I strongly recommend doing the calibration as instructed in the manual. I did this and was subsequently able to get the same readings as the other two. Now I need to find a small soft storage bag to keep them safe.

I would buy it again despite the small flaws.

Very good level but I wish the magnet was stronger (it would take a paragraph or more to explain why I want it stronger but I'll spare you decent magnet , just not as good) strong as I would like for my particular purposes). Bubble levels are good for quickly zooming in and then fine-tuning with digital gauges, but I'm surprised at how far the bubble actually reaches. Auto-off Feature is good, but I wish the power button was easier to press. It is compact and easily fits in any pocket. The…

I am satisfied with the repeatability of this level

I am satisfied with the repeatability of this level. The accuracy also seems to be high: practically every 180-degree test returns the same displayed value. I like the auto-rotation of the display so it's easy to read if you use it upside down. You must keep the surface very clean as every small particle of dirt is measured. My only complaint is that the auto-off feature sometimes causes the level to lock up and can't be turned on manually for a minute or so. I'm still trying to reproduce the…

It's great but difficult to use. To get the best results:

Great multimeter, but no matter what you calibrate, Y will adjust to 90 degrees, even when it actually is it 45 degrees. You must first set the X perfectly and calibrate the Y to true 90 degrees using the quality square so that the level is set perfectly. Remember which direction the level was pointing (orientation) when you calibrated it in X and the same way when you calibrated it in Y, and take all measurements with the level in the same orientation. If you do, you will enjoy this level. If…

Very good level but wish the magnet was stronger (it would take a whole paragraph or more to explain why I want it stronger but I spare you. It's decent magnet, just not as strong as I'd like for my specific purposes). Good functional product with some useless features.

I have There are two such Devices. 180 and 180pro. I've been using it since 2012/2013. The devices were used to remodel a house, set up a milling machine, and precisely sight a gun rest to line up the front rest. Both devices fell to the ground, disappeared into attics for weeks, lay in shooting bags and were not used for months. They have always been calibrated and provide good and reproducible angle measurements. The Pro has a Full Zero feature that allows you to set precise incremental…
