Looks nice. Odd design to attach

They look very nice once attached. Rich appearance. Free swimming and good size. This is a strange installation process. Basically, drill a hole and seal it. At first I didn't look at the instructions. I assumed the end of the screw went in first and then the other side. It seemed logical. Well you know what they say when you fuck me. I broke the first one and then read the instructions. Use the template provided. Drill appropriate holes and secure with construction glue (liquid nails or…

horrible hardware, horrible instructions but it turned out wonderful

Wow, they weren't kidding when they said the hardware was rubbish. as well as instructions. 1/8" and 1/4" drill bits can't possibly be big enough and unfortunately most standard drill bit sets are no larger than 1/4". I wanted to flush mine so I had to buy a larger bit. Still, it was a very tight grip - I had to tap them gently with a hammer to get the pins in. The finish on the numbers also looks pretty poor - rough around the edges, I'm afraid the coating might chip off after winter seriously

It looks good from afar, but all the numbers came out scratched.

Given the size in the cold mounter I really wanted to give a perfect score but all the numbers I ordered had scratches on the surface. This is because they are displayed in clear plastic and I am sure that in storage and delivery they have rubbed against other services resulting in the surface of the numbers being scratched. I would send them back but since they all arrived scratched I thought they were still scratched. I just installed them as they walked around the house and people looked at…

Do not assemble as directed. Here is the best way

This material is a synthetic resin; as well as equipment. To avoid breaking the mounting screws, finger tighten each one on the back of each number. Draw a solid, even line on the surface where the numbers will be. Enter the distance you want. Place a lipstick on each end of the screw attached to the back of the number. Align each number with the top of the line, then press the screws against the surface to transfer the lipstick (pattern). Then, use a drill bit the same diameter as the screw to

These numbers look amazing on my house

These numbers look amazing in my house. I set them up with their stands "floating" and centered them under the porch light. Yes, they are available from major chains/hardware stores for the same price, but I prefer Revain. The rest of the reviews are spot on. If you want to mount them as floats, you need to take the number pattern from each package. It is integrated into the cardboard base of each issue. Line up the house number templates and glue them together. Set the posts to each number…

Fair Value - House Numbers, Plaques & Signage

I have purchased 5 separate rooms all brushed nickel. I had no trouble matching the paints even though they came from two different suppliers. Reading other reviews I was very careful with the mounting screws, thinking they were fragile. So I didn't have any breakage problems. Yes, patterns are off - at least pattern #2 was for the top hole, so I had to do my own calculations. These look very good for the money. They're covered in some kind of clear coat, but I can't guarantee it will last…

as we had a break in the room as per other reviews

Can be found at your local hardware store for about the same price. The template provided must be used, you MUST follow the instructions. Be extra careful with the spokes as like other reviews we had a breakage in the room. We taped it back. This isn't the highest quality product so be patient if you really want this modern design to work for you. You can't skip the step of drilling big holes and filling them with caulk or glue - we've tried. The problem is that the product is not perfect. If…

Be careful when installing!

I really like the modern look of glide numbers. Revain was a good price so I ordered them. I was so excited that I quickly read the instructions. Who weren't very thorough. And tries to install. I drilled the holes according to the instructions and quickly snapped off the supplied screw. I read the instructions again, tried the next screw and broke it too. Doh! I was dying to use these numbers, so I turned to my trusty Google friend to find out what I was doing wrong. I couldn't learn the…
