I am reforesting several thousand small trees and these ties combined with split bamboo pieces are an easy way to keep the trees upright and support them. Easy to cut and apply. I bought a few smaller reels before starting to buy the larger reel (to save some money) and they've been great. Highly recommended for securing small trees, vines, small branches etc. I also use them to keep extension cords, ropes etc neat and tangled. High recommendation!

I use a roll of this velcro every summer. Not only are they handy for tying up vines, but also for protecting hanging items from too much wind (like my wind chime) and for attaching wires (which are found on items like an outdoor fountain). I also use foil in the fall when tying down tender plants before winter (like my bamboo and Chilean rhubarb). cut to size. Will not be damaged outdoors despite rain, sun, wind and snow. Highly recommended.

Still trying to finalize my opinion on this Velco attachment. I kind of like it. It looks neater than rope and doesn't cut into the plant like rope does. It's also easy to reverse if you need to change your position as your plant grows. I use this velcro to tie tomato plants together. This is my first time growing any type of plant, so this is my first time planting a plant. Many people have advised me to use old t-shirts to tie up my tomato plants. I went with these instead and am very glad I got a large roll for less than $8 and cut the required length with scissors.
