This is the only genuine product, not a fake.

Fast operation. After my fake grease box gasket started leaking in the driveway the next morning, I spent a lot of time and new axle lube and fixed the problem with a real gasket.

Pros
  • Very good price-performance ratio
Cons
  • Protection

No more RTV mess: Gaskets

I'm tired of messing around with RTV. Now when I remove the diff covers I don't have to worry about cleaning all the RTVs or waiting for the new RTV to dry. Ideal for off-road gear or any vehicle subject to frequent differential maintenance.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Everything is fine

No leaks (yet!) for spares

I don't like making gaskets. This works fine. It can be reused. And as long as your diff cover isn't bent all the way on the mating surface by removal or prying, I don't suspect anyone will have any problems or leaks.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Fair

Simply the best of the best

What more can I say, these are the best diff seals money can buy. I've used them on my Ram 2500 and now an 8.8 Ford in my dad's Mercury Marauder. They are of excellent quality, don't leak a drop and are reasonably priced. I will always buy them in the future when they become available. From what I understand they should be reusable.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Big and chunky

No more stupid skittles for me!

I bought this for my 1990 Bronco Eddie Bauer. P/O threw the rear differential on a rock and ripped the underside of the old cover off the axle. I was using a quart of diff fluid a week. I ordered this for the back of a Ford 8.8. This gasket and a new Dorman diff cover saved me a lot of money on transmission oil.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Expensive

Much easier and cleaner than silicone.

Changing transmission fluid is much quicker and easier than scraping off all of the silicone commonly used to seal caps. Transmission oil changed several times and seal still works. Used to clean silicone for more than 30 minutes and use brake cleaner to remove residue. Now I spend 10 minutes and have completely coped with the transmission oil change.

  • Great Price

Great seals on replacement parts

You can't go wrong with Lube Lockers when you need them. If you don't need to change your differential oil regularly, you probably won't see the benefit. I bought them because I'm running two new axles and they need an oil change every 500 miles. Also, I'm an off-roader and any time you get into mud or water that's deeper than my axles, you run the risk of water getting into the differentials. In this case you need to change the oil. I don't want to mess around with RTV sealant any more than I…

Easy installation, perfect fit, reusable and no leaks!

The LubeLocker seal is made of steel coated with rubber on both sides with an additional factory applied elastomeric sealant. The metal gasket is strong (impact resistant), seals well and can be reused many times. It comes with instructions for tightening the screws in a specific pattern - follow the instructions closely and you're done - and go - and go! I used a LubeLocker seal with a cast aluminum differential belt - perfect fit, easy install and no leaks! Apply LubeLocker Pad DRY! No more…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • No mold required

Best quality, great price! never let me down!

I used this on my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. It fits perfectly, not a drop has leaked in 3 months! My installation method: 1. Clean the internal differential with the brakes, avoid getting into the slots, use a rag to soak up all the oil and liquid.2. Use 60 grit on both mating surfaces to eliminate corrosion, pitting, etc. Then 320, 600, 1000 and 2000 grit to get a good mating surface.3. Use canned or compressed air to blow holes4. Apply a coat of high temperature full synthetic bearing…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No insurance
