Perfect fit, easy to fold and take off. A good product.

Unlike the other reviewers, I had no problems with the tent parts. The tent fits my Chevy Silverado Truck with 6.5ft bed perfectly. It helps with wind. It was a good size, there would be plenty of room for two. Easy to install, just follow the instructions. Make sure the tent fits snugly against the truck bed closest to the rear window before strapping it down. Very easy to take off.

Very cheap tent, don't waste your time.

At first glance this tent looked great but the material and quality are very cheap. Firstly, this item was sent in used condition, covered in dirt and dust. The screen windows have been ripped out and all the strap connections are very loose and poorly made. A few have already been ripped off. I read many reviews about the same complaints and still decided to take a chance but as you can see. It did not work.

The right choice for me!

I have now set up this tent four times and taken two long hikes with it. I stayed dry, there's plenty of room as well as pockets and a central unit to hang a fan/light, and the windows/screens allow for great airflow. I'm 5ft tall and carry a 1.5ft stool with me for easy access to and from the bed of the truck. A rain jacket is useful but I didn't need it to set up the tent. I put three small mats between the truck bed and the tent to protect the tent from bumps. So far, so good!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Make sure you know how to sew.

We put it together in our driveway to learn the rules before using it. With this installation (which wasn't difficult) 1 stick slipped into the pocket and 1 strap broke from the seam! Very very bad quality! We needed it for the weekend so luckily I have a sewing machine. I fixed the bad seams and reinforced the rest. The fabric isn't torn, just the seams have come undone. Let's see how it goes now. I will update after use. I really hope that a little rain will confirm the water resistance.

Dig that tent full

WOW! I bought this tent and used it three weekends in a row. It's easy to assemble and goes perfectly with the Rams bed. On the first use a pole broke off in front of our front door, I was able to tape it up and hobble around with it all weekend. I emailed Off Roading when we got home this week. They asked for a photo of the pole and where it was in the tent. They sent a replacement rod quickly and easily. The tent and poles are color coded for easy pitching. I used it once and wasn't afraid to

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

It holds up well in fast moving storms on the field.

Easy to install, durable and comfortable. This truck tent is great. I used it to attend a military meeting in Lakeland, Florida over the weekend of April 9th. It was comfortable and stayed dry with a rain cover. I say dry because we had a fast storm moving through the area with winds in excess of 40mph, with a tornado about to land and heavy rain falling from the side. When it was all over, only 2 tents remained. Both car tents. One on my truck and one on my jeep. All other tents collapsed and…

So far, so good! - Truck body and tailgate accessories

So far we love this tent! In the attached image it is shown on our 2010 Toyota Tundra Double Cab with 6.5" bed. I used it myself for the second time. As you can see from the photo I had ENOUGH space for a crib and all my "stuff". Some interesting features of this tent: • Instructions are sewn into the carry bag - they can't be lost • The parts are easy to identify and color matched to the bags on the tent 👍 • The straps that go to the sides of the truck have fabric around the Staples sewn so…
