Wrong product good service

I ordered this card hoping my windows 7 desktop would sync my ipod with itunes. The first card came in 3 days. After installation, my computer doesn't even recognize a device connected to the card. I contacted the seller and after some investigation the seller agreed that the product was defective and the seller immediately sent me a replacement card. This card has recognized all devices that I connect to it. Some reviewers cautioned against buying as it is actually a USB1. 0 and speed help you

Quick and easy with USB port cards

I bought this for my Elite K7SEM mobile phone because I need USB 2.0 ports but didn't want to go through the whole process of getting a new mobile device. Found this at Revain and got the exact same chip as pictured. It came brand new and was so easy to install. I plugged it in, turned on the computer and XP did the rest. Now I'm using peripherals and transferring files at real speeds!

Just what I needed to add more USB ports to my machine.

I ran out of USB ports on my computer and this card helped. Not only have more ports been added, I was able to use port 5 as the port to power my USB wireless adapter, so it now appears as if the computer has built-in wireless connectivity. except maybe when looking through the vents at the top of the case. This is a good spot for the adapter though, as it's too bulky to put elsewhere.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Easy install but flawed performance

I tried this product for the first time and thought it would work well even though it's a 'no name' brand. I installed another unnamed USB 2.0 adapter almost identical to this one on another computer I had. This adapter worked great. It was very easy to install and Windows XP correctly loaded all the drivers for it. When I plugged in the USB stick, it seemed to work. Then when I plugged in the USB hard drive it opened fine, but when I started copying the files the files window blinked and…

Do you have a Ps3 Madcatz TE but it doesn't work on your PC? Get it

I won't go into details but all p55 motherboards, motherboards with nvidia and AMD chipsets don't use USB compatible with Madcatz Tournament Ps3 version. Joystick. You can buy almost any expansion card with a VIA chipset, but I chose this one because it has a lot of connectors. The installation took place in ezmode and worked great on my Win7 x64 PC right away. 5/5 stars

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

I/O port map updates

Need USB 2.0 for my printer to work correctly on an old desktop. Card driver installed. Then I turned off the computer, installed the card, and turned it on again. It found the card and then connected the drivers to my printer and everything works great.

Pros
  • understandable also for old
Cons
  • For old

It happened by accident

This card did not suit me, and it seems that I am not alone. The packaging states that this card is Mac and PC compatible. It didn't work properly on my Mac G4, and most of the comments here about how the card works seem to be PC only and only with certain peripherals. For example, the card can supply enough current to power my iPod, but not enough to charge it. The card also failed to connect to my iPod, USB drive or digital camera to transfer data. Also, my computer kept crashing while…

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
