All sealants are NOT created equal. Buy this.

listing. This sealant absorbs more easily and looks better than the DAP products I've used for years. I wish I had known that a long time ago. I highly recommend it.

Good sealant - difficult to apply

I think this is a very good sealer but it was very difficult to get out of the tube. I lowered my hands and squeezed the handle. Because it was very difficult to apply, it was uneven and difficult to smooth out. I think a powerful caulking gun could solve the problem. I used a lot of sealant and this was the first time I had this problem.

This sealer is great

After trying several other brands and types on my shower tray they all seemed to either not hold or stick. Let's start collecting mold. It's been in our shower for months without a trace of mold. You need to be more careful when applying. This sealing material is sticky. This makes it stick very well, but you can't smooth it out like you would with regular joint compound. I found that I had to use liquid soap on my finger to keep my finger from sticking to the seal. I think this sealer is…

That's a good thing

a stock sealant. Well, at least it's available from Revain, although it's not cheap. I've never liked working with heavy duty silicone sealants because they make a mess, but sometimes you just have to, you know? This stuff is no different, but if you search the internet for tips and tricks, you'll be fine. My obviously unprofessional advice is this: use masking tape to get straight edges, have tons of square paper towels on hand (throw them straight in the trash every time you wipe your…

Good product! Works perfectly.

This product definitely works as advertised! It was very easy to use. I watched several videos about professional uses. My recommendations: put on disposable vinyl gloves (this stuff is sticky and difficult to get off your fingers/hands); Use blue masking tape to cover the areas above and below the sealing area (edges/corners); After applying the sealant, use a professional tool to smooth it - don't use a plastic spoon, it's dirty; Treat one side first, then the rest one at a time, immediately…

  • Silicone Sealant

Dries fast. for Adhesives, Sealants and Lubricants

I've read that sealant can come out the wrong way, so I decided to poke a long stick into the working end where the sealant should be. went out and noticed that there was some kind of thin film sealing the sealant in the tube. You have to pierce it to allow the sealant to push in and out. Otherwise, in my opinion, there will be the problem described here by some, which breaks out at the wrong end. Aside from that, which is weird, because other sealants I've used don't have that kind of barrier…

Pros
  • Adhesives, Sealants and Lubricants
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Works best with adhesives, sealants and lubricants

Excellent for sealing a tub and will look good once the area has been properly treated which means the area needs a proper cleaning, especially wall tiles. surrounding the bathtub should be sealed with duct tape, much like painting a wall. The tape prevents sagging and leaves a clean, straight line around the entire perimeter where sealant is applied. I have read other reviews that said this material is difficult to apply but be aware that it is not regular putty or just regular sealant, it is…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Not as thick as other gaskets
