Good parlor game

My friends and I were playing Skip-Bo and then one day we tried 5 Crowns. Never returned. Since then we have played 5 Crowns. This is a great rummy style game. We play with 3-6 players and it's time limit itself. There are 11 hands in the game and we usually finish the game in about an hour. Of course you can play more than one game if you like. We count but only laugh at the results - no pressure.

Please replace my fake decks.

I ordered two sets of this deck and after several months of use I contacted SET Enterprises with dissatisfaction to express my complaint. The yellow star map is difficult to read. The cardboard is thin. There is no comparison to the quality of my original set that I bought from Barnes and Nobles. I found out that two kits I bought from Revain on February 4th, 2018 are counterfeit.

Fast fun game

This is a great card game, similar to rummy, but with 5 card suits instead of 4. The game rules are simple and easy to understand, but the game is tricky as each hand has its own wild card. Starting with only 3 cards dealt, 3 of which are wild, you play rounds to kings (13 cards, kings are wild) and jokers are always wild. The game moves fast and is addictive. A person can fall behind the whole game and still win in the final round. This game was recommended to us and we are very glad we tried…

BIG family fun best in standard decks

What a simple and addictive deck of cards! Great for kids too. Families - get this because it's going to be a good time for the whole family. You must think this is way better than video games! Get your kids involved and they'll see that thinking can be fun! And competitive. And honestly, competition is unfortunately a dirty word for school children these days. I guarantee EVERYONE will have fun, even the shady dads who can be a bit boring at times! Not to mention the nightly games for couples.

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

THAT'S COOL! for games and accessories

My daughter (11 years old) wanted card games for Christmas. I went to good old Revain.com, read the reviews and bought this game because it came highly recommended! I'm so glad I did. I can't tell you how many nights we played this game. We play it all the time. There are four of us (me, my 11 year old, my 9 year old and my 8 year old) we all love this game. Just for the record, I taught my kids how to play 500 rummy a few years ago so they knew what to expect. .but it's BETTER than Rummy 500…

Make your cards last 6 times longer!

Although I usually don't like rummy style games, this game scores a 10 on my hard scale. It's rummy on steroids! Here's a tip the manufacturer doesn't want to share that will last your cards 5-6 times longer. After the deal is over, we set aside the used cards and simply pass on the unused cards. People may complain that "we've already used a lot of wilds (or the next wild card) so we have to shuffle", but after playing this way for years I can confirm that it doesn't make a difference because…

Elephant shuffling around the room

A game doesn't get as many 5-star ratings if it's not fun. That! So I'm not going to talk about how much fun we're having with the game. I will only focus on the worst part of the game. Shuffling all these cards is very painful! Split the deck in half and shuffle. Split the deck among everyone at the table and shuffle it. Or (sigh!) just keep using the same deck across multiple games until you run out of cards. All have their downsides. In particular, performing the card shuffling takes a lot…

Strong chemical odor

This is the fourth set of cards for this game that we have as we play it a lot. This is the only set where the cards have a strong chemical smell. We used it once and the smell was so strong it gave us a headache. The design of the card also felt more like thick paper, like children's games, rather than regular playing cards. Update: I returned the deck as defective and Revain sent a new set (thanks). I just opened them and they have the same horrible smell. Set Enterprises needs to find a new…

Great for adults, not the best for a 7 year old.

My 7 year old daughter fell in love with UNO after receiving it as a Christmas present and wanted to try other card games. To be honest this isn't one of her favorites out of the 5 or so I've bought her. I think it's because the game lacks zest compared to some games for kids (there are no cute cartoon characters on the cards or anything), I think it's a bit difficult for a 7 year old kid and I guess not that it's suitable for multiple hands Counting catches the attention of a 7-year-old. I am…
