I love this fireplace! However, when we received it, it made a clicking noise that was really annoying (see video). If this happens to you, I know how to fix it! Lay the chimney on its back on the floor and unscrew the bottom plate. Turn on the fireplace to determine where the clicking is coming from. The Classic Flame 23" Quartz Electric Fireplace arrived today. I immediately installed it in the cabinet from which I removed a decades-old worn 23" insert (not this brand) removed. Once in place (perfect fit) I read the manual to understand the controls. Press the ON button and play around with multiple heat/flame settings. This thing is a NICE 3 pin socket to be safe with a temperature sensor, even though the device has a temperature-sensitive plug.

Much to our surprise the order was delivered within 2 days of placing the order on Sunday. 33" is easy to install and snaps into place with existing clips in minutes. Looks great (see photo) and enjoys different flame settings. The heater/fan experience is similar to other reviews - not too noisy after warming up for a minute (similar to a small heater). We rarely use our wood-burning fireplace, so I decided to fill the space with something functional that fit the bill. The flame looks surprisingly good and offers a good range of settings. We are very disappointed with this product. The remote didn't work unless we were standing very close to the fireplace and it wasn't putting out enough heat to heat a 500 square foot room, let alone a 100 square foot house, even with the heat on.
