This heater is amazing, puts out a lot of heat for its size. The legs snapped easily into place and were tightened with screws. The remote works great and I love the flame effect. All in all a very good heater!

The temperature controller only seems to dictate how often it turns on, making the room that much hotter on a warmer day. Having to adjust the temperature from time to time is a bit awkward, so I give it 4 out of 5. We have this fireplace in our camper to warm up in the morning. The thermostat works very well once you dial it. The remote control is a big bonus. Has buttons for on/off, flame height and heater on or off. To set the thermostat, you need to open the door and manually turn the dial to get the right setting.
