IOTA
In my post today, I will talk about another project, IOTA.
Although this project is new, I can say that it has invaded the crypto world.
It is known as the leading distributed network for Internet Connected Devices. In other words, it acts as a general distributed ledger without blockchain.
It uses a consensus system called Tangle.
It enables a growing machine economy with machine-to-machine payment.
All computing devices in homes, businesses and factories will be able to use IOTA for communication and data transfer.
Many of the large power plants will likely have more or less only one backup function in the future. Here IOTA and Tangle can serve well.
In addition, IOTA aims to provide greater data integrity in the healthcare industry. By securely transmitting and storing personal medical records in the IOTA distributed ledger, access to private medical records can be reliable, secure and controlled.
With the advent of new companies and low-cost satellites, IOTA could be launched into space for secure data transmission.
All in all, IOTA is certainly one of the most interesting projects. It is directly separated from normal blockchain solutions with the use of Tangle. And with Tangle providing free transactions, extreme scalability, and quantum resistance, it is possible for the Iota team to eventually achieve their goals.
