I ordered this reptile lamp holder because I knocked over a loose lamp in our crested gecko terrarium. When I opened the box I found many small parts, some metal rods and instructions. At first I was concerned that the lamp holder would not fit my 24" terrarium, but that was before I read the instructions. The main advantage of this lamp holder is that it can be used in different ways for different terrariums. Types and sizes I found that I had several solutions to decide if I needed two lamps and legs at the bottom of the terrarium.(I chose one lamp and didn't need the legs at the bottom.) I didn't need all the parts either read the manual twice before figuring it out. It took me half an hour to assemble. Aside from the fact that the instructions were less clear than I would have liked, I was impressed with the ease of setup. It didn't require a lot of force or manual dexterity Overall I'm happy with how the mount makes my light more secure.
