I bought these to use on my diesel pickup truck fuel lines. My truck uses a high pressure lift pump, 65-75psi in front of the injection pump. "Normal" screw tensioners are not strong enough for this pressure. Fuel injection clamps are required. They work really great, I'm just picky. You really have to crank these things really hard to get full tension. I found that because the clamps applied so much pressure I had to go back a day or two later and retighten them as the fuel injector line (high quality, Gates biofuel compatible, good for 225psi and 275 degrees) deteriorated over time shrank. quite a bit and can leak at 75psi. Wear gloves or the edges will bite your fingers as you will need to hold the clip while tightening. The screw heads need to be a bit larger to be great, but careful use of the 7mm socket works well. You'll need to hold on and head down hard as you approach maximum clamp so you don't round off the short screw heads. Wear gloves or the edges will bite your fingertips. **One really nice feature of these clamps is that if you need to remove a bolt to fit the clamp onto an existing line, rather than having to take it off to slide it onto the end, the nut unlike some others on the clamp itself remains other brands where the nut is free to fall when the bolt is removed which can be VERY annoying.
