Slightly tricky best in water pumps

UPDATE This pump is absolute rubbish. I received the delivery on 14.12.2019. Today is March 2, 2020. Ready. It flows through the diaphragm. I think it must have been leaking slowly for quite some time. If you take it apart, it has a reset switch. I removed the unit in January and had to reset it as the pump was clogged. 2 days ago it started again. This time I could see what was happening. The membrane expels water directly into the switch, so it works naturally. The grunt I mentioned is due to the pump slowly leaking and needing to be repressurized. It's not strong enough either. 1.1 GPM just isn't enough. If you pay $16 for a pump, you get a third piece of S***. The return date ended on January 31st. You can't invent it! I'll be buying a really good quality unit to replace, NOT the 1.1g/m. Do yourself a favor and skip this and spend some extra money :) Overall this pump works well. Especially considering the price. It was very easy to install. Only 4 screws through the rubber feet. The tubing I used was 1/2" diameter and 3/8" ID. It's the perfect fit. I used miniature clamps and while not really needed, it was a good idea just in case. The device is switched on and off by the water flow. It's a bit noisy and the current isn't very strong. Input and output are not marked, you have to experiment with that. I used a bucket of water and alligator clips on my car battery. All in all, this will help get the job done for a small sink and faucet. The price is very cheap, it is good value for money. Update: If you don't have an off switch, it will grunt from time to time. Enough to keep me up at night. No, the water doesn't flow, it just grunts. I'll add a nice tap switch. In any case, it's probably a good idea.
