Died in first 15 seconds of use

I bought this to pump water from a small tank to my sink and after reading the reviews I thought it would be easy. Once installed I flipped the switch and it pumped water from the tank to the rim and then died. I checked the fuse, it's still good, so the problem is with the pump motor. Will try to buy another pump from another supplier. UPDATE: Took the pump out and hooked it up to a 12v battery to fix the wiring and switch issue. He didn't make a sound, nothing. A complete waste of money.

Winterjogger Wave

Received the pump in 2 days. I got the hoses and fittings from my local Hdw. I used this to winterize 2 Seadoo waveguides, the pump ran less than a minute each, about 1/2 to 3/4 gallon of RV antifreeze. thought to be a switch but didn't have it handy. I used an extra bike battery to get it working as waveguide batteries are a bit harder to come by. I put it back in the original hose box and since I used it with anti-freeze the pump is already winterized and ready to go. next year. Very…

Nice little pump but some kind of inlet filter needs to be installed.

I needed a small, self-priming, inexpensive pump for the bilge water loads that are not served by a standard bilge pump. This pump fits the bill. The download stopped after a few uses. Suspecting dirt had gotten into the pump, I removed the suction and discharge pump covers being careful not to lose the small springs and valves, flushed the pump and reassembled: all is ready. The whole process took about ten minutes. Valves and chambers are very small, so minute debris is likely to cause pump…

Lasted less than a day

My boat refrigerator uses water cooling to keep the temperature down. Not necessarily, but for cooling. Last year I replaced a pump designed for this purpose that failed. replacement cost? TWO hundred and fifty dollars! It worked? Yes, but only for one year. I will not spend that much money for a year of work again. So I played around with it. The thing is, it has to work continuously. This is where I think it fails. After I installed it, the water flow it created was just what I needed. I…

Pump works great. Used it to replace a dead pump on my 15G garden sprayer. "Big brand" pumps like these are in the $45-$60 range, so I decided to take a chance and buy these for less than half the price. The mounting holes match the original pump and the 3/8" hose burrs are exactly the same size as the original. installed this pump in the same orientation as the original, the flow was reversed so I could compare the pump to the original Had to install it upside down which is not ideal but for…

Almost perfect for a large battery watering system. Cute!

I decided to try this on a recently installed battery watering system and it's so quick I was amazed. It sucked up nearly half a gallon of distilled water in a matter of seconds. basically zero pressure at startup. I don't need 30 or 35psi for this application so hopefully the pressure switch can be set to 5psi. Of course if you use it at full compression you will need a clamp on the exhaust port. Well, as for the half-gallon, it was a new installation for 48 L-16 cells. 16 S-605 Rolls…

works perfectly. good for boat plumbing

Original rating: not too loud. I see several people worrying about the direction of the flow. There is a fairly obvious arrow on the bottom of the pump showing which is the outlet. Barb fittings could definitely be a bit longer. They are used in our freestanding cabin to pump potable water to a faucet designed to connect to a reverse osmosis filter. We have a separate pump for non-potable water (washing dishes, flushing toilets, showers, etc.). The only problem I have right now is that if you…

3 years UPDATE: Self-priming is worth it! I pump the degreaser with me.

This pump was the cheapest I could find, it was self-priming and non-submersible. I use this pump at a restaurant, pumping degreaser out of a 5 gallon bucket. We use about 5 gallons a week. I have a pump mounted on the wall and under a 3 compartment sink. The elevator is about 4 feet with no problems. It is used every day. I connected 2 SLA 12v 7amp batteries in parallel. 4th month UPDATE: This pump is still working great. About 80 gallons of sanitizer was pumped over 4 months. Power supply - 2

Slightly tricky best in water pumps

UPDATE This pump is absolute rubbish. I received the delivery on 14.12.2019. Today is March 2, 2020. Ready. It flows through the diaphragm. I think it must have been leaking slowly for quite some time. If you take it apart, it has a reset switch. I removed the unit in January and had to reset it as the pump was clogged. 2 days ago it started again. This time I could see what was happening. The membrane expels water directly into the switch, so it works naturally. The grunt I mentioned is due to
