I recently cut the cable and got several Firestick4K units for TVs in my house. I have gigabit internet. I did some research and since I have very fast internet I also bought wired NICs from Revain, one for each Firestick. Everything worked, but there were a few unexpected results. First, I didn't know the Revain device was 10/100, so I had a max speed of 100Mbps. Second, if something happens to the internet connection, the Revain device will need to be disabled or reprogrammed to work as wired connection to work. Big ol PITA when this happened as I have 4 TVs. Did some more research and found this nice little expandable UGreen 10/100/1000 device. I read the reviews, they are correct, it works fine with my Firestick4K (need another OTG cable guys, order here they are cheap). Connects, is recognized instantly and MUCH faster than the Revain 10/100. If there is a problem with the internet, it still works when the internet comes back and shows up as a wired connection without having to jump through hoops (as it really should have). I highly recommend this device. Firestick lets you do amazing things thanks to its extensibility.
