Absolutely an idiotic design and even worse description.The first problem is a simple math problem. And I guess it's my fault for assuming things would work out.as an engineer I make every attempt to make it so people can trust the design.If this product comes with two, five foot sections, and the pre-drilled holes are spaced evenly at 16" apart. And the first hole on the first rail starts at 6"; assuming each subsequent hole is 16" from the last, where does he first hole on the second 5' rail need to start?Answer, it's NOT 6"! I was an idiot and drilled holes in the wall then realized that I was only going to get studs on the first rail, so I had to mount it to a board and drill counter sink holes at the stud locations, screw lags into the board, then secure the rail to the board. I dont like that only half of the hardware is secured to studs while the other half is not quite as secured.Second problem, or rather a tip; you are paying three times as much for a freaking bracket the joins two regular 5' barn door hardware sets together. I guess it's worth 50 bucks to not get 4 rollers and 4 stoppers and just giving you a bracket instead.I tried spacing out the rails to compensate but it didn't work. I am returning this as soon as I can.Sooooo pissed.
