Overall, this kit was pretty good quality. The instructions left a little to be desired, but was pretty easy to figure out. My major grievance is the infuriatingly stupid stud spacing. With the 8' model, the track is split into two sections that are bolted together. Each half of the railing has four mounting holes, each spaced 16" apart. HOWEVER, between the two sections, there is only a 12 1/16" spacing, which throws the stud spacing off. Directions confirm that this is the way it was…

We had a wide opening that wouldn’t fit a traditional double door, & wouldn’t accept a wall-mount barn door track. This ceiling mount was just the right solution. I put two of these end-to-end to make a 16ft length of track for double doors. I recommend installing a mounting board to the joists, then mounting the track to the board, rather than hoping the brackets will align perfectly with all of your joists.

AMAZING! The photo I attached is actually the longer ones that I ordered (10'), but I couldn't wait to post about these. I have installed several barn doors at the house and I would say this one of the better kits I have used. Materials are top notch and the instructions are clear. The pre-drilled holes came in handy ( as long as the studs are at 16 ;). I was particularly impresssed with the rollers, incredibly smooth opening and closing. I would definitely but this again for the next project

Good luck if you're not an avid DIY. The instruction will be of little help. My recommendations is to watch a few videos. This will help you immensely. If you're familiar assembling products, you will be fine. The doors my wife wanted were gigantic. 91 x 45.yes, gigantic, but they now look great. The quality of the barn door hardware is really good and very solid quality. I will definitely purchase again or at minimum, recommend.

I like the product. Well the parts that actually showed up. The main 5 ft rail was completely missing. There was a hole in the end of the box that I think it slipped out of during shipping. Looks like it wasn't very well secured in the package which allowed it to work its way out the end in transit. The whole kit is completely worthless if you don't have a rail to actually hang the barn doors on.

Amazing product that installs with ease for the DIY homeowner. Don’t waste your time deciphering the instructions as they are useless.

This was exactly what I was looking for, I didn’t have studs right where I needed it so we had to go put some up there, that was the hard part but it was mostly easy to install, it does exactly as Intended and the best part are the rollers are super quiet! Highly recommended

Product came very quickly after ordering online and, after inspection, found all hardware was of good quality. Only complaint was mfg.'s directions, which were a series of drawings with mystical dimensions and no written instructions. Had to go online to see how to mount, install and secure hardware to door and to to wall.

If you are going to put this up in your place, be ready for happiness. It looks so nice on the wall and ceilings. The product is not adjustable, meaning that it may not be suitable for non-standard door sizes.

Excellent quality. Chinese instructions full of spelling errors and weird measurements such as (6/10ths) ? If you are at all handy you wont have a problem. Buy a different floor guide. Plenty on Ebay.

Terrible. Shipped the wrong size to me. Claims 5.5 ft (66 inches). Actually the bar is 67" which means it doesn't fit my project and they won't return it. Make sure if you want something from them that you don't measure things exactly or it won't work for you.

Really easy to install, the door slides extremely easy, and is nearly silent while sliding. Excellent quality for the price.

Nice hardware bolts are a little difficult to thread in since there painted as well as the holes for them but other than that looks very nice

Hardware works well, solid, good quality. We used 2 of these to extend a track for a double wide barn door, worked out great

Love it. This is my second barn door adventure and this mount is by far far superior in quality than the previous barn door mount. It is silent and the wheels are of good quality, they do not rattle. This ceiling mount is installed for my to be born daughter’s nursery so we needed something very silent. This did the job.
