Review on Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless headphones, black by Gagaan Pahal ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

I have long wanted a good wireless sound. Unfortunately, there is nothing special to compare with: before that, there were only Galaxy Buds plugs and a device from aliexpress (you can’t call it headphones) Edifier 830BT. From the first, I wanted a good middle and high in the headphones, from the second - the convenience of full-size headphones. I re-read and reviewed all the reviews, I thought to wait for the Sony 1000XM3 and Bose QC 35 II ate, but I didn’t wait) In terms of sound, as far as I understand, for Momentum 3 the competitors are only Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC, the rest are worse. And the priority in choosing it is for sound: noise reduction and a headset are secondary. What can I say about the sound in Momentum3 - it's awesome. To be honest, I don't really have anything to compare it to. On one famous site, people compared them with the Sennheiser 820 HD and wrote that in momentum it is so-so. But then the ears are over 100+ thousand, you need to understand this too. I won’t say all sorts of fashionable words like attack, bass layering, punch, stage, and so on . Especially when you understand this a little less than nothing)) In short, I’m satisfied with the sound, everything is clear, assertive, voluminous - like me and wanted) Connects to two devices at the same time, but you need them to be turned on when you turn on the headphones, otherwise there are plugs. I was confused by the design, I wanted something like a sonek 1000xm3. But in reality, it turned out to be very normal. Smart pause actually turned out to be not such a uniquely good feature: if you watch YouTube or music from the player, then it’s convenient. But there are situations when it rather interferes: you listen to the radio (for example, through the Europe + application), but it does not respond to the pause system event, it lives its own life. So, you take off the headphones, put them on - and in addition to the radio, the player also turns on and starts playing something in parallel. Or you watch YouTube on your computer, connected to the phone. He took off and put on his ears - and again the player started on the phone and the music turned on . In general, this feature must be "able to cook"

Pros
  • Sound Leather ear pads and headband trim Ease of on/off Smart pause (ideal use case) Noise reduction does not spoil the sound Transparent Hearing mode transmits sound from the outside without distortion When folded, it takes up little space on the table
Cons
  • Smart pause (in real life) Too hot for the ears after an hour of use at home Not the biggest battery Large and not hard carrying case (but the ears are more for home use)
