Review on Portable Anchor Plate for Utility Winches - Black by Dave Hammon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The winch plate is very thick and designed for heavy use! Recommended

First impression: Plate and chains are very thick and strong. A bit bigger than I expected which is good but a bit heavy. Read all comments before ordering and was curious how the chains would match the slots; The one I received required no modifications and could go in and out. Dead end (free side) when installing I plan to use some zip ties to make sure it doesn't slip out. Very unlikely, but it occurred to me. Bought to work with a ZXR 3500 HF winch so I assumed the bolt pattern would be different and would require drilling. After comparing with this plate and high-frequency winch bracket, holes actually need to be drilled. But I was surprised to see that the location of the two middle screw holes matched between the winch plate and the winch mount. So in theory someone could buy a smaller 2-bolt winch from HF and fit it directly. Why I chose this installation over installing a winch in one spot. Versatility. I will be using it for cargo in the bed of my truck, but with the portability it can be put on a trailer for hauling or lift off as needed.
