I'm trying to force myself not to complain about this filter.

Frustration, dissatisfaction and distrust. Everything my wife thinks about me and what I think of this product. I bought it for my 8 gallon McGraw compressor. With the default filter, the volume is 85 dB. With this filter you get about 83 dB. While it technically reduces noise, it's definitely imperceptible to the human ear. What disappoints me the most is that the product claims significant noise reduction. It's not like this. Note: Not tested but I have a feeling the compressor takes longer to fully fill up due to the smaller intake ports.
