Compressor Silencer Compressor Replacement Accessories Review

My son drove off and lost the air filter on my California compressor. Found this one at Revain, it was cheap and lost looking. So I bought and found it fit and work on the compressor. Can't tell if it's dampening, but the compressor isn't loud to begin with.

I ordered a WEN Air Compressor but nothing came with it. No air filter, no wheels. Without axles. The air filter was not sold in any store in town and WEN was out of stock for months. Finally found at Revain. It's wearable. He was in stock. It was pretty cheap. It came in two days. Functionality and fit are perfect. Very happy with this product.

My air compressor has two of these mufflers/mufflers. I lost one on a moving expedition (from a Lowes dumpster to my garage) after installing it alongside a stock muffler/silencer, there is a very noticeable difference in decibel output from one piston to the next. Maybe 80% louder. This is a quiet, engineered air compressor built for silent operation. So maybe this particular product isn't ideal for maximum sound absorption, but it fits and is good value. Frustration, dissatisfaction and distrust. Everything my wife thinks about me and what I think of this product. I bought it for my 8 gallon McGraw compressor. With the default filter, the volume is 85 dB. With this filter you get about 83 dB. While it technically reduces noise, it's definitely imperceptible to the human ear. This replaces the filter/muffler that came with my $1200 pond aerator pump. The original filter costs between $68 and $125 for the same model number. Shocking! This replacement has a pleated filter that offers better dust filtration (the pump is installed in a closet next to a dirt road that generates a lot of dust) and the pond is surrounded by poplar trees that produce airborne seeds annually. I have an HF 21Gal Black compressor, it's insanely loud so I bought it to try and drown out the air intake noise but it didn't work. My compressor came with a plastic filter canister (photo 2) and a filter with a thin foam insert - measured with a dB meter in the phone app at 6ft was 92-93dB (back and forth between the two).
