During a recent service on my '06 R53 I noticed the CEL popping out after buttoning all the buttons up. Thinking it had something to do with the work I was doing, I read the code and started looking under the hood to make sure I wasn't breaking anything. I then checked the gas cap and found a noticeable crack through its gasket. I ordered a gas cap replacement. I wasn't very happy with the fit. So I sent it back after finding this replacement gasket for my original lid. Has been running for a few weeks now with no problems.
