Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Pentel Fude Brush Pen, Medium: The Perfect Tool for Expressive Brush Strokes (XFL2L) by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Broken, leaking "disposable " pen

Packaging was fine and everything looked fine, like previous Pentel brush pens I've used. However, during use, large drops of ink began to leak between the sections of the tip immediately after opening. This was/is a NEW pen.***If you have not used these pens before, please note that they are not fully sealed or waterproof (impervious to ink). If you're new to brush pens, you might start with the Pentel Pocket Brush.*** Nearly ALL the Fude brush pens I've used leak to some extent, if only a little, especially when you use the cartridge Squeeze lightly to fill. pen camera. This was an obvious problem with this pen and the leakage was so significant that it could not be trusted at all for use in art. I really wish Pentel would rethink the design and how it draws air (necessary for ink extrusion, like a light but with an ink lung). Therefore, they have a design that can "breathe" but not leak. I usually experience a little leakage with these knobs, but not like this. Much less. I've attached and circled an example of one of the blots. It was very unexpected. I'm just glad this was a rough test site and not an actual work of art. It would be ruined! I really just want a replacement, but returns are not allowed on this item. Either way, it's likely to leak all over the post. So I'm just stuck with a broken pen that I can't use. Seller - send me a new pen and I'll happily change this rating if it works properly.
