Entrepreneur First, generating opportunities

One day in class a professor told us, "you are going to be engineers so you have to learn to solve problems, if an engineer has only nails and a hammer to build a car, he should build it only with nails and hammer".
As an entrepreneur I can assure you that the world needs many companies like Entrepreneur First, to help us get the necessary tools to implement our ideas.
In our countries very valuable human resources are lost, for lack of investors who listen to our ideas and can give that initial support to start our ventures.
Supports people to create technology companies. It has offices in seven locations; Toronto, London, Berlin, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangalore. Founded in 2011 by Matthew Clifford and Alice Bentinck.
How Entrepreneur First works, you must first have an entrepreneurial spirit and a mind full of ideas to make an interview application. This application must be well done taking into account that only 30% are accepted. Once your application is accepted you will be invited for an interview, the interviews focus on your proudest achievements and your competitive advantage as an individual.
Once your participation is confirmed, the company sends you an invitation to the launch weekend. Selected individuals move on to join Entrepreneur First from around the world. In some locations, support is offered to help the entrepreneur apply for a visa if needed and to help them get established in the regions.
For the next three months, entrepreneurs meet in teams to develop their ideas and come up with a plan for launching their ventures.
Then comes the idea development stage, in this stage the entrepreneurs have the advice of an expert who will help them to consolidate all the goals proposed by the team. This stage covers the next three months of the program.
Everything culminates in the Demo Day, where all participants present their projects to investors from around the world who will ultimately be the financiers of the projects.
You just need to have a clear idea, an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to succeed to emerge victorious from this experience.
It would be great to have an Entrepreneur First office in Latin America.

  • The main and most important thing is the fact that everyone has an opportunity at Entrepreneur First, it is up to each one of us to take advantage of it.
Cons
  • They should have offices in Latin America, Latinos have a lot of potential.
