Review on SpinLab - The HHL Accelerator by Abraham Jeremiah

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The 100% free accelerator program from Germany

Since my very first day of making researches about accelerator programs I have never come across one that charges no fees at all for a startup that they have helped incubate. I would like you to meet Spinlab, a German based startup incubator and accelerator program established in 2015 which has so far helped pioneer over 70 startup programs to where they are today. The best part about Spinlab is that there is no fees at all. When I say no fees, I mean zero fees, also no royalties of any kind is being charged neither is a part or equities or shares of the company are being requested off from the startups they have Incubated. To couple the good works of spring love every startup that comes under the umbrella gets funding of up to 15000 Euros and networking will not be a problem for any of the startups because spinlab is in partnership with several notable companies like Dell technologies Porsche and Deutsche Bank.
Can you note any disadvantage of Spinlab as an accelerator program, I guess not. My only issue so far with Spinlab is that they seem to have limited their coverage to Germany. To anyone interested in coming under the Incubator program, I reassure you that Spinlab offers the best you can get anywhere because I for one have never seen such being offered since my time researching accelerator programs.

Pros
  • Spinlab seems to be the first-ever accelerator program that I will ever see that charges no royalties, collects no equities or shares in the startups or charges a fee for its program
  • Over 70 startups have been incubated so far by spinlab
  • Every startup that comes under the umbrella of spinlab gets an assured funding of up to £15,000
  • They provide groundbreaking networking for their startups due to the partnerships that they have established with several popular companies
Cons
  • They seem to be limited only to Germany
