Review on Chevrolet Intake System Shield - BLACKHORSE RACING by Tay Tran

Looks good, pretty solid material for the price but was very difficult to install and a bit frayed. Goes great on its own! But the rubber-inserted ring that the mass airflow sensor fits into was large. It slipped but didn't tighten. I had to go to the factory intake manifold and cut off the old rubber insert to fit it to the new one, essentially creating a bridge between the two. As other reviews say, this probably requires troubleshooting. I didn't have to cut the fan or the fan shroud like other people claim, I had a gap of about an inch or two between the air intake and the fan itself. Aside from a minor assembly issue, my only other complaint is that the air intake itself is worn and the filter is slightly worn. Although perhaps this is the operator's problem. Would definitely buy again as it's great for the price just hope it comes with matching shoe accessories in the future.
