This bolt looks great, and simple to install. However, the moment I slide the bolt, a portion of the finish scraped off. I can only image how it would look in a few weeks after steady use. The directions about the tension spring are poor, and the spring itself is a tiny piece of thin, cheap metal that looks liable to break. It also isn't secured, so when you slide the bolt back, it pops out. We didn't notice it the first time it fell out, and I almost vacuumed it up. I imagine you could make it work without the spring if you don't need the tension, but with the finish issue indicating that this product would need to be replaced sooner rather than later, I opted to return it instead. Return process, at least, has been straightforward.
