I tested the rubber in difficult real-world conditions when the Siberian winter hit, and the results were as follows: ice and rolled snow by 5, dry snow by 4.5, a bit less confidence but still good; I don't like asphalt, but it won't be in my hamlet until April. The tires are good; they rescued me from snowdrifts so deep on the Mazda 6 that the men in the 4WD looked askance at me; and they maintain the track with a lot of assurance, possibly due to size. One of its flaws is that it wanders on dry snow, which requires constant correction.
