Review on GearWrench 3680 Ratcheting Wrench Serpentine by Mark Sharma

This tool looks great but that's all I can tell you. I bought it specifically for my 2004 four cylinder Camry with an AF ZE serpentine belt. I had a very hard time releasing the tension with my regular 19mm hex and pull rod ratchet. I thought I wouldn't have any more problems from now on. But no luck with that. It fits perfectly but on the way down it hits the water pump pulley and stops. In this case, the wrench extension will stop on the alternator pulley, making it impossible to remove the belt. If the bushing were five millimeters higher, it would clear the pulleys and the job would be done. I was afraid of ripping off the GearWrench because I didn't want to break anything. After trying unsuccessfully to use this GearWrench product, I finally realized my mistake was not taking it slow. I didn't give the hydraulic tensioner enough time to compress. I went back to my usual tools and everything worked.
