Very very good quality tool

This is a very good and durable tool. I've tried different wrenches, different head breakers etc etc but have been unable to change the serpentine belt on my Honda. Then I bought this tool and changing the V-ribbed belt was very easy. Please don't waste your time and energy and I recommend you all to buy this tool if you plan to replace the V-ribbed belt on your car by yourself. This tool is a quality tool and will fit almost any car with the included accessories. This tool seems to last me a…

Great tool and well made

Great tool and well made. I used it on a 2014 CRV and a 2012 MDX. This is the only way to change the drive belt with this tool. They need a hand to articulate. If you had a long key like Artisan or OTC, your key would be too long and unable to turn in the engine bay. Engine compartments are getting smaller and you have to avoid obstacles. Also, at least it has a case for storage. The dealer is charging $150 to replace the drive belt. Buy a tool, buy a strap, spend 15 minutes and save yourself…

Did the work that needed to be done.

I needed to replace the serpentine belt on my F350 6.0 liter diesel engine. Pulley is difficult to reach. With a little experimentation, I was able to move the idler a few inches and tie the tool in the open position with a strap. This allowed me to align the belt with the alternator before loosening the idler pulley with a tool. My only complaint is that the extension handle doesn't fit snugly in the ratchet lever and falls off easily. I would like a closer fit between the two pieces. Lock…

Without them I could not change the generator

This is a very versatile tool. I originally bought this because I needed to move the belt tensioner. However, using bits and some bits, I made half a dozen different types of wrenches to remove the alternator from my 2009 Honda Accord. If you've ever tried to do something like this on a relatively modern car, you know that motors are mounted on the outside of the car and then pushed in, so servicing anything around the belt is very difficult. With the available attachments you can add standard…

This is one of those tools that you use once.

This is one of those tools you use once and it pays for itself. The alternative is to rent it from a parts store, clean it after you're done, return it and rent it again if you need to remove the belt for some reason. etc. etc. The tool is solid and well made. Stores neatly in a storage box. Multiple angles in addition to the ratchet make it "handleable" in many configurations around the engine bay. You will find that there is usually an o-ring around the 3/8 drive that is used for more than…

Quality and useful tool kit for V-ribbed belts

Purchased to replace the V-ribbed drive belt on my 2007 Honda Odyssey 3.5 V6. The wrenches, sockets and houndstooth adapters are of excellent quality and come in a very nice case. The tool made loosening the tensioner a lot easier as there is very little clearance to replace the serpentine belt. The wrench handle is thin for getting into tight spaces, and the included ratcheting socket and hex nuts (required 14mm in my case) combine to give you a lot more leverage to get over the tensioner and…

Not for AZ FE engine

This tool looks great but that's all I can tell you. I bought it specifically for my 2004 four cylinder Camry with an AF ZE serpentine belt. I had a very hard time releasing the tension with my regular 19mm hex and pull rod ratchet. I thought I wouldn't have any more problems from now on. But no luck with that. It fits perfectly but on the way down it hits the water pump pulley and stops. In this case, the wrench extension will stop on the alternator pulley, making it impossible to remove the…

Almost perfect: key

For the most part, this set is great. It has pretty much everything you need to remove and install a sickle strap. The angles this two-piece wrench allows eliminates the need for many vehicle specific sickle belt tools. For example for some Honda, Mini and some others. This set pretty much covers everything. The case is strong, beautiful and securely holds everything you need. I have several issues with the design of the tool. The sockets do not fit the ratchet very tightly. So when you're…
