Review on Acer Predator Z35P Bmiphz - 🖥️ 3440x1440, 100Hz, Curved Monitor with HD Display by Gavin Schupbach

I picked up the Z35P after having to return 2 Samsung cf791s due to dead pixels and audio not working. I decided to spend a little more for gsync, an extra inch of screen real estate, and an extra 20Hz. Pros: Almost no blb and batman logo. The screen size is impressive. srg mode. 120Hz is awesome. Gaming with my 1080 ti and 4790k is incredibly exciting. Disadvantages: Unfortunately, this panel lags behind the Samsung in terms of brightness and image sharpness. It's good, but cf791 was great. In fact, this is not a minus, but rather a 7/10. Unusually thick margins. Connecting power/video cables is a big problem. Of the 18 games I tested with gsync, 15 worked flawlessly. As smooth as you'd hoped. It's really wonderful. The problem is that not every game "plays well" with gsync, for reasons I don't understand. Lots of stuttering in Quantum Break, Wildlands, and Devil May Cry. I have an 84% success rate with this. Not bad either way, but not knowing if there will be problems with it in the next game I buy has become a source of concern for me. However, gsync is worth the premium price in my opinion. Is this monitor worth buying? If you're looking for ultra-wide gsync at 100Hz or more then this monitor basically comes down to it, the X34, the Asus PG348q or the new Alienware aw3418dw. . I stayed away from the X34 and Asus because of all the horror stories I've read online about backlight bleeding. I've only heard good things about Alienware, and with the recent price drop to $999, it might be a better alternative. I wanted this monitor to be great, but it's just fine.
