We have just returned to the US from Asia and our printer needed a converter. All the converters that the people of Asia had were made of very heavy metal. I was surprised when this one arrived. It's not that heavy and has an on/off switch. The ones we've used before were on the entire time they were plugged into an outlet. It's well made, durable but doesn't weigh a ton and has worked great for us.
